This "old junk" will beat a lot of Harley's and other cruisers. Just like it's speed, its 'ahead' of others, lol.

It really isn't my dad left me his old one and its such a speedy little bike, granted you have to allow the water cooling and engine to warm up before you ride but that is some real old school shizzle ye nah.

Rare, beautiful... and like so many first editions... out of print.
For 35 year "Old junk" bikes, an experienced rider can make one hang with a first gen V-Max in the quarter. They are the opposite of slow.
I was around when these things came out. They were (and still are) a totally unique class of bike. Perhaps they don't dazzle the crotch rocket officianado adrenaline main liners of today... but back in the day, they dropped jaws and were very sought after bikes. Again, they were totally unique in style.

I had one of first one sold in Cincinnati it was built to smash V-Maxx it was goofy fast with rejet airfilters D&D pipes not a max killer but every bit as fast and unfriendly in the slightest curves. Slow compared to a busa or ninja 🥷 still scary for 1986
