A more scenic part of US 11 through Birmingham. Astonishing how few interchanges or intersections exist between US 11 and the other US routes and the Interstate system through this city. Even the state highways, like AL-75, are few and far between on US 11.
It wouldn't cross US-11, except at the junction of I-59 (concurrent with US-11) and I-422/I-459 in Bessemer. The terminus is projected to be at I-59 in the Trussville area, which is entirely west of US-11.
Nice trip!
I'm enjoying your videos ,Jason.

Great drive! Have you heard Interstate 95 in Philadelphia was collapsed due to fire?
Yep. And we were planning a trip this summer that would have involved driving most of I-95.
Wonder where the proposed I-422 will cross at.

@@504RoadTrips Oh okay. I thought it was going to be a complete beltway. I'm trying to catch up.
@@coreysmith8560 it not going to connect with I-459 on the eastern end. But even if it did, it wouldn’t cross US-11.
@@504RoadTrips got it. Thanks. I was just curious.
BTW, my name is Roby the robot.
Means you didnt drive every mile...
Close enough.
