Father & Son working together. Wonderful!
Scenic is right, those drone shots of the hay fields are beautiful. thanks for them and all you do .
You always make interesting videos, Cole. Thank you for the extra time and energy you use on your camera and drone footage. Fantastic!
The very beginning looked like Cole's Wild Kingdom, then the family got down to business. Big day of farming.
“Scenic” doesn’t begin to describe how beautiful that area is, in my opinion. Especially compared to south plains of Texas in our drought.
Thanks!
I really like how your Family works together to take care of everything together.
I've been watching you two for several years now and still enjoy the content
Brings back to my youth and growing up on the farm
It's sure come a long way since tge 50s,60s and 70s
I miss the farm but it was a lot tougher back then.
“Rush hour” traffic in the Dakotas, tells that deer, “Pick a Lane”, now that’s funny!! Love that beautiful done footage, i could watch that all day! Perfect “hunting lodge” Cole, we used to have the same, perfect to hang out in that time of year!
I am allergic to warps. Gotta carry that e pen with me all the time.
I watch your videos every. The new ones when they come out. And I go back and see the one a few years old.
I learn alot form them. Thank you. We missed the song of the day here
stay safe!
Nice and peaceful drone shots, Cole. Good work. Very calming on a stressful day.
Had a young man from South Dakota staying with a week coyote hunting. I can see you do have a beautiful State. Great video Cole and Brian. You have the best farming video’s love watching them. Watching from western Idaho.
Awesome footage today, seeing it from behind a window, clever... Miss Brian's song of the day... He's been pretty quiet of late.. Hope all is well ❤
Your drone shots, really show how bad the flooding was. I'm glad your getting so much feed, maybe you can build up a reserve. Thanks for sharing.
I also love the music on the drone shots. Love to watch you guys.😊
Cole, you got to grow up on some of the most beautiful land I've ever seen. Most kids go a life time never knowing land and life like you've lived. It's hard work and a lot of times not much money, but I know how it is with our horse farm and I wouldn't trade it for the world. You have a good Daddy and Momma, and the rest of your family. That's what it takes. Congratulations Cole, you got the dream. God's green acres.
Thank you once again Sonne farms!!❤
Thank you too!
Drone shots are the best. The two of you never lack for something to do on your farm.
Cole and Dad Brian thank you for sharing everything. So glad you did not get sting .Have a blessed weekend.God bless you and your families.
Nice looking cattle! And again, love the drone footage. That looks like an ideal hunting area!
Thanks again Cole for the video. God bless you and yours.
You guys are just good hard working people, keep at it, God bless
I heard the kildeer! We have them in town as well!---Imagine our Great-grandparents joy at seeing all that tillable prairie. Mine from Norway, yours from Sweden(?)
Denmark! Thanks!
@@SonneFarms Thanks for the clarification! I've slept since first hearing the heritage!
The straw they baled a video or so ago will be used for bedding during calving.@AtherTech-8989I think these fields are hay fields.
I just love that I am not the only person who talks to the animals and or just talks to themselves.
I have three crabapple trees in my back yard and fields on three sides. The cattle come up to my fence and my kids love to feed them the crabapples. So when they see my truck a mile down the road, they all come and wait, hoping to get apples. When the kids are not there, I will get a bucket, fill them up and walk the line. I talk to them like they're my friends. I have names for most of them and so do the kids. "Hey Henry...how's it going? Here, eat this and you will feel better...oh! There's Margrett! And how's my lovely mistress doing? You get two apples..." my wife things I am nuts. I love it! I will take my acoustic guitar out there and sit and play for them. I always have an audience. No complaints and no heckling. Once in a while I hear a Moooo! but I take that as applause
@@valuedhumanoid6574 thats pretty cool
@@valuedhumanoid6574 love that
Tks for the video Brian and Cole , I was just thinking about how terrible y'alls hay crop lastyear and I couldn't help but thinking how God has truly blessed you all this year !
I'm only 30 seconds into this video and already having multiple laughs!! Thanks!
:)
Thanks Cole, for keeping us in the shade while you were raking😂!!
I would quite happily watch a whole video of drone footage, it’s so relaxing with the music! If you ever get stuck for a video or prepping for when baby Sonne arrives I think it would go down well x
The babies are looking great! Fields are lookin good even after all that rain. One thing about farming its either too much or not enough when it comes to moisture. Hope Jeff is having a great vacation.
6:45 Reminds me of "keep arms and legs inside the ride at all times". 🤣🤣
Really cool video from the blind! Nice for hunting! Love that hay smell!
I know you have had some incredible amounts of water that have taken some acres of productive ground; however, those huge wind rows look like they may make up a bit for all that swamp land. Farming is always mixed blessings, but this year sure makes up for the past three years of drought.
Cole & Brian keep up the great work! We need farmers like you. I’m bias, because I was born and raised in South Dakota in Sioux Falls.
8/17/24 - Good Sat. Morning from Chas.,SC - Thank y'all for the Great videos ! Love the Drone shots ! God bless all of our hard working Farmers!
So I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos…you guys ate hard workers for sure…keep up the good work.
Also…your rake…squeezing…means something is wearing out…hope you get oil or grease soon…all the best!!
I always enjoy the haying videos, and the aerial shots are great. Thanks for sharing, I hope your weekend is great!
Thanks for another awesome video Cole and Brian.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch for sure.
In one of your short videos you showed the new scale system you have now. That is a really nice addition piece of equipment to help with processing your work cattle herds. Very nice!!!!!!
This cutting of your hay seems to be less than previous fields. Believe you said it was a wet field and no fertilizer. Can make the difference. Believe you said 30 bales or so, but still that is not all that bad. Very good drone camera footage in that field; gives you a different perspective that is for sure. Like your hunting shack, don’t blame you for opening the door carefully, who knows what might be inside-ha!!!!!!
Looks like you and dad are getting the hay cutter repaired; needing a bearing I believe you said. Fix it time I guess.
Nice drone footage scenery today, thanks for that Cole. Beautiful area of the farm.
Saw the concrete base for your new grain bin construction. Looks great. And then soon will be putting your herd processing equipment back together on the concrete base. That will be fantastic when completed.
You both take care and be safe. Thanks for everything.
With my blessings.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
😊😊👍👍👋💕💕🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cole, nice editing on the baling montage... Is very relaxing to watch/listen. As a contractor who is always moving/solving/building I appreciate the chill moments. :-)
yes chill moments are few and far between
Great video, Cole! Your camera placement captures interesting footage. The drone footage provides an excellent perspective. That deer is teasing you.
Yeah that's an interesting-shaped field to contend with. Amazing that there are still underwater spots even after all this time, wow.
love your content. Great job. the best time of my life, was working with my DAD
Glad you enjoyed it!
beautiful music🤔
You sure are bouncing around. Good thing you have a great seat.
Really enjoy the choice of music for the great drone footage.
Thanks for sharing! I really appreciate it!
thanks for watching!
Hope Uncle Jeff had a great vacation!🍻
Always interesting. Thanks for the video 😊 🚜
Always enjoy the drone footage! Another interesting vlog, Cole. Appreciate your time in making these videos!
That squeakin hay rake sounds like my sister-in-law asking for more gravy on her biscuits!
lawd
It's rush hour in the cornfields, road raging whitetails and look at all the cops running radar! And we need some vacay photos from Jeff!!!
Great video as always. Thanks for sharing!!
you guys made a lot of grass this year. In spite of the water. And because of the water. Can’t wait for winter videos
That a beautiful part of the farm there can see why the deer like it there , the cattle handling set up now will be class on the concrete , top job
Thanks for the video.
Nice ride along -
That was a super duper vid Cole and you go to a lot of effort to give us different views ❤
@2:49 that's a very strategically placed rock... I love it!
Great video guys thank you so much
Great videos. Keep up the good work. Stay safe
Hi to all three of you guys from Indiana
Always love watching the drone footage
Up in the deer stand and a great big green Deere comes by.
Speaking of deer….cole you should do another deer hunting video this year. Always fun to watch. I know you’re a farm channel but what’s farming without some good ole deer hunting. 😁
Looks like a good harvest, sure makes a difference!
Great video as they are. Keep up the good work and be safe.
Awesome video. Don’t forget to watch South Dakota little leaguers today
Sonne farms the best advertisements for John Deere 😎👍🦌🚜
Wait you Yankee Farmers take holidays?!?! :-) Glad you maid it through the hornets nets. Hope Tiffany & +1 are both doing well. Two weeks ago we had our 11th child a boy. 7 girls and 4 boys. A perfect Irish farming family.
Wow….congratulations on the addition to your family.
@@tamisonne2519 Thank you very much. Congrats on the upcoming arrival on your grandchild. Children are fun! Free farm labor! :-)
Useful video, wish you good health
Great video. Beautiful drone footage.
Seen a few deer harvested from the deer stand in this field. Good eating.
great video cole
Thanks and GOD BLESS
Battery powered, powerful impact drivers are game changers?!!
truly are
Good job guys
Thanks!
Beautiful video, love watching field work. Also love your humour!❤️❤️
I see you airing up tires on the rake often. I suggest putting tire ject in them ! It works!!
!
I was in S Dakota this time last yr ...
Im a Tx boy , so I know a hot day .
We spent a day in the Badlands and it was 100 deg .
Mix that with high winds & every one of us were burned to a crisp ...
My blonde haired son wore flip flops & the tops of his feet looked like cooked lobster...
Whoda thunk it !
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
More rain for Iowa today, Sunday
awsome video cole thumbs up and shared
Why isn’t there anymore Brian‘s song of the day, Brian and I are around the same age, I like your dad seems like a good man.
There are no more good songs yet
The porch door on my house sounds just like the rake when you lower it.😂
Great video good to see y'all
Loving the drone footage !!!
Like your deer stand
Enjoyed.
Deer season just around the corner ! Good video Cole and Brian !
Claas twin rotor swather/rake. Do try one. Lots of brands out there. So funny to see an old finger wheel rake.
I still see the odd one rotting away under tree's or in museums. Lol
yep we are still farming in the 70s
Dang that little hunting house is almost as nice as my actual house
All good!
Yes
Cool thanks 😊
G’job fellas, looks like y’all might be able to bale with an airboat on the one end…lol. Take care 🇺🇸
the cows must be happy that they got cake
Seeing your deer stand a friend of mine in northern Mn had one like that he had no windows . Went to check on it in the summer Turkey vultures used it for nest. He said there was so much crap inside of it and stunk so bad it got into the wood he just burned it down and had to start over.
It is sure rough out there, must be all the shell casings Tiffany was leaving while teaching you how too shoot!
If you like the video and haven’t subscribe! It doesn’t cost anything to help them out. Also say something make a comment that helps as well
:)
I haven't uncle Jeff for a while, hope his doing well.
Wish they would post everyday
Great video
The old blue pliers. I think everyone who is hands on owns a pair of them 😀
