Seinemeyer and Wunderlich are the most tragic early losses of the singing world in the 20th century ... From my subjective and purely artistic point of view, of course!
Yeah, I like the song too. And she really makes something out of it! I will take a look at your post, I heard the name, but I don't think that I ever listened to her recordings.
So tender. Indescribably beautiful voice - singer and song are not so often heard! Thank you so much for most unique and precious post:)
This is a LOST ART. There is NO SINGER ANYWHERE TODAY WHO CAN SING LIKE THIS
Beautiful

Thank you, Barbara! I am glad that you like it!
@Glenmed --Bravo! A jewel from Argentina..
БОЖЕСТВЕННО !!!
What a gorgeous voice, and what a passionate temperament she displays in this song! I think I'm correct in saying it was her final recording.
The conductor on this Parlophone record is Frieder Weissmann, whom Seinemeyer married in the last days of her life.
WOW!!!!
And do not forget the conductor Frieder Weissmann, All recordings she made with Weissmann. He married her on her death-bed. in 1929.
🙏
Yeah, she is probably my favorite soprano, at least vocally.
