Music like this has no cultural or language barriers. It doesn't know colour or size. It speaks to people from all walks of life. That's a special thing to give to the world, and I truly do hope that this man, Ludovico, knows what he has gifted us with. Oltremare is so much more than beautiful; so much more than a masterpiece. Words fail me to describe such an amazing work of art. But for me, this song is a savior. It's brought joy to my life when I felt anything but joyful; it's taken away tears and pain in the middle of a sleepless night; it's calmed me down when I thought I couldn't be calmed. Oltremare is so incredibly special to me and will always have a place in my heart. Thank you, Ludovico Einaudi, for giving this to me and anyone else that's ever needed it. I am eternally grateful, and eternally indebted to you.
I have been playing piano for about 2 years, i know about 15 songs, 7 of them are by Ludovico Einaudi. This one is the most global and greatest. Proud to be able to play this
There’s something so beautiful in his music that I think I may cry but then just at the point I think I’m going to break, it’s lifts me like a wave, sometimes building, and sometimes just out of nowhere. It’s so incredible.
Well, perhaps you don't have to "lose" it to become a better person. Nothing truly goes away, they just transform into something else. Even dead leaves could take part in the growth of plenty other trees. Maybe a part of growing is to make use of what's old and dying to give birth to something else entirely. Cuando pensaba que ya terminaba toca otra nota y vuelve a ponerme los vellos de punta. Como es posible que una melodía juegue con mis emociones y me tenga en vilo en cada nota. Sublime!!
So very hauntingly beautiful, the way it reconects the soul, brings through emotions long forgotten, a strength, a will, yet also capable of reminding us of the hurts that bring this yearning to feel strong forth from deep behind my own ego

O meu ♥️ agradece essa maravilha ,sou grata .
The start reminds me of Chopin Prelude in E Minor. Funny how music speaks across generations. Just memories/feelings travelling through time. Extremely personal yet cherished by all. A beautiful piece
