this woman is not a doyen at all, she is a one of those who do not have the genes of dance or music, and calling her a doyen is an insult to the authentic art of the Thanjavur Quartet Paramparai! She probably does not know even the history of this Art form because even the woman who set up the institution were she was the head of did not know of the existence of this great art. What she and the music ensemble is portraying here are fragments of the original Art, so please do not repeat the words of those orientalist scholars!! The divine art is lost almost what is here is the mass produced dance not art at all!!
