Travis was discovered playing basketball at the community outdoor court as he picked up a basketball under the goal, went straight up off two feet and dunked with two hands. We asked who he was and his little brother said, "Football is his favorite sport!" Travis was in the 8th grade

No way he doesn’t play WR at FSU. Dude has pigskin magnets in his hands. Some of these catches would be hard just tossing the ball around in practice, adding at least 2 db’s makes them insane. That catch between 2 db’s and another receiver trying to take the ball away, was insane. The concentration is on another level for a veteran pro, never mind a high school kid.
I coached him for years in youth football league. And I’ll tell you this like I tell everyone else. The kid have the best hands I’ve ever seen in my life, that’s including pros and hall of famer’s. If it touch his hands it’s caught. And of the one of the smartest players to. But to show his pedigree. He still can’t outrun his dad.

Watching Travis Hunter in this video makes you understand why FSU is so disappointed in losing him. JSU got a gem in this guy. Another factor is his ability to play the ball as a DB like a receiver. He's looking for the ball as if it's being thrown to him. His jumping ability is other worldly. He's going to very entertaining come 2022 football season.

Re-watching this in 2023 and the biggest thing that stood out to, even above his athletic ability, is ability to communicate with his teammates and coaches. A player who has the tools, can read plays, and communicate with his team is a dangerous player.
The thing that's most amazing to me as I'm watching this is realizing that Cam Newton has had a hand in developing a whole generation of players. Literally hundreds of college guys and dozens of pros

Watching a few of his games this season he just walks everyone and looks bored out there because he is leaps and bounds above everyone but I will say that Collins Hill had a nice all around team this season and he really could have asked for a better ending to his high school career....win the state championship with a monster game on both sides of the ball then a few days after shocks the world and goes with Prime to JSU💪.....this kid is gonna be something to talk about for quite some time and he did what was best for his future going to JSU because they have a growing powerhouse program with arguably they best 2 way not to mention 2 sport athlete of the last 30 years if not EVER so he should definitely benefit from being around Prime
