Why is my 2.0 litre auto deisel not fuel efficient, I have spent 250 pounds to clean the dpf and yet I am getting a disappointing 20mpg on the local run
I didn't know it was based on the Chev Cruze. Great car, had it for 6 years, an absolute marvel to drive and for family use. If GM didn't leave South Africa I probably would have considered the Orlando. Its simple and elegant.
Kia cars aren't good, don't buy them, i worked as car mechanic for them, the Quality is terrible. Chevrolet is great they make them in south Korea and the most parts are from the Opel (Vauxhall) Astra. I recomend them to everyone who needs a solid car for fair money. Sorry for my english Im from germany.
I would have considered this vehicle if it was sold in the United States. I wonder could I buy one of these in Canada and register it in the United States?
Hi, do you reckon an AWD or 4 wheel drive would be better in heavy snow condition, than a front wheel drive? Thinking to get Orlando Chevy but not sure because it's not AWD/ 4WD. Thnx
If this thing gets a refreshed look to be more sleek and in like with the rest of the Canadian Chevrolet line up, and with an AWD option I would consider this vehicle. If not, a Chevrolet Cruze wagon with some rear facing third row seats would be cool to have here.
It's not offered in the states because most Americans would not be able to fit into it. Thank god for being slim... Mazda5 has better exterior styling, though, it would be nice to get SKYACTIV engine with a 6 speed manual. Very nice, well thought out interior.
Living in Cleveland Ohio, I occasionally see those oddball Canadian cars we can’t get in the US. I’ve seen the second generation Kia rondo, and the Suzuki swift+, but never seen one of these Orlandos
The frustrating part is the vehicles built in Korea... Not saying thats bad, and plants there also make the Cruze, (though we get american ones),but when the compared to the journey, which is built in the states, and the option of all wheel drive, and a better design in the journey, there isnt much of a place for the orlando...
I like Orlando but the back tailgate is not working and there is no way to open from inside what kind of b s is that why cant they make thing the way they were
wow you do great reviews. not really that knowledgeable about you although you seem familiar? but very thorough review and covered in a different style than most reviewers. cannot even put my finger on why you are so different. but hey. kudos. good work.
Simply bring the Diesel Cruze break ( station wagon ) avalaible in Eu , better mpg . About the Orlando : Design flaw like the Soul : too narrow rear hatch opening . Great cargo but can't fit too many large item like an xxl frame sized bicycle . My Matrix could gulp my 66cm bike without removing anything . I doubt the Orlando can match this .
Also mit meinem Carnival (2005) bin ich bestens zufrieden! Keine Panne bis jetzt (110 tsd km) Und bei uns gibt es auf neuere Kia's 7 Jahre Garantie- wer gibt das sonst?
Nope! We Canadians CREATED class. We don't need or want European class, thank you very much. There's a reason we're one of the most well-liked countries on earth. Can't say the same for America or many European countries for that matter. Nice try, though. LOL
I just purchased 2012 orlando and it feels great. Very fuel efficient, smooth ride, quiet, 7 seater, plenty if room.. i love it!

I own a black one. 2014 LT model. And I am still loving it.
Looks like a great canoe carrier. No wonder the Canadians wanted it.
I can’t believe that this was considered a "compact crossover" along with the mazda 5. I guess we’ve come a long way since then.

Kis has been changed a lot now in 2024! Hope you know this!
Very value for $$, comfy,practical, strong,.new 1.4T engine, drives like a Golf...
I would have considered this vehicle if it was sold in the United States. I wonder could I buy one of these in Canada and register it in the United States?
I agree, very cool vehicle! I wish it was sold in the US too. Were you ever able to aquire one?
@Hakeem Sd70M no. I never tried to acquire this vehicle.
If it was offered in awd with diesel I'd buy one for Canadian winters in the city.
cara pikir orang indonesia tentang sebuah mobil : murah meriah, cepat hancur kalau kecelakaan, minyak hemat dan sering servis
Chevy Orlando is quite affordable Crossover SUV in Malaysia,as to keep up with other brands like Peugeot, Mazda, Ford & VW.
"Hockey Practice" and "Tim Hortons" made me fall over laughing! I love Canada. Greetings from Seattle!

What if they did sell this here in the US? Would've replaced the Uplander

Classic GM, naming a vehicle after a city in the United States and then only selling it in other countries

Could you do a review of the manual Mazda 5?!
you know canada is a joke when a chevy cruze is a awesome top 10 car. LOL
Because your opinion matters most
Will O'Reilly exactly
Does the orlando has a diesel engine?
Absolutely great car, i get one but with diesel engine.
I thought it had more in common with the Opel Zafira Tourer, but I don't know for sure.
How this crossover is not for sale in the US?
And by the way it is very stable on the road
Hmm, the taillights look kinda like the KIA Borregos but still looks nice :D
Its for sale in Sweden.

The dodge journey is a midsize suv 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

This sucks.... I want one of those but I live in the US!
Is there a recall on the rear tail gate mine wont open
"taking the kids to hockey practice and going to tim hortins" lol. stereotypes
It probably wouldn't matter if they sold the Orlando here. It was a GM blunder
They should bring it to America.
Would never ever buy one again at 104,000 K motor blew and from what I have heard since these motors are prone to this, BEWARE!
The dodge journey is a midzise crossover !!!!
A disappointing 20mpg, on a 2.0 lite auto diesel
Also mit meinem Carnival (2005) bin ich bestens zufrieden! Keine Panne bis jetzt (110 tsd km) Und bei uns gibt es auf neuere Kia's 7 Jahre Garantie- wer gibt das sonst?
I'd rather get a Dodge Journey
Yes its midsize crossover sub not a compact one
looks like the Ford s-max
It’s a mpv
Lol @ how threatened American's are by us Canadians...absolutely hilarious.
very good
Keep that monstrosity in Canada. Thanks.
thats cause he is canadian thats how we say z is 'zed' we aren't lazy like the americans

lol @ shitty compacts being deemed as quality products

Well these so-called "shitty compacts" come, compliments of an American-owned vehicle company, so....
Что за говно?
in Indonesia too. i don't like this car... too expensive for 1800cc car. and MPV with small cabin... that really worse car
