I always find it funny that James Wan tricked a bunch of people into watching a stealth successor to basket case.
Malignant's sequel should be called Malignant: Back 2 Back she's kidnapped by a crazy billionaire and dumped in a labyrinth with a bunch of serial killers, only one gets out so she has to work with Gabriel to survive. For when they go to space set it on the Mars colony and it's Gabriel vs Kuatu.

Malignant takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe and Gabriel is a warp entity
holy shit, the concept of Twolignant turning into a lucrative action horror comedy cinematic universe franchise with a Mario Kart tie in game made me lightheaded with laughter.
Malignant: Stage 2 will feature Gabriel spreading numerous growths through her body and that will culminate in Malignant: Stage 4 when Gabriel figures out how to pass to other people like a hive mind zombie plague.
Watching this movie not sober was the best idea I ever did.

See you can watch Basket Case and feel like your high as fuck but if you watch Malignant sober you ruin your fucking day and pray for a blunt.
Ive gotta say. Youve drastically improved as a host david. You're getting your thoughts across without stumbling as often compared to when you first took over. I thoroughly enjoy these newer episodes as opposed to some of the older ones, but there will always be some classics such as Dear Aslan and the Playground Clan Wars.
I know, I really feel like the podcast has really come into its own, and even though not EVERY episode is a straight banger, so many of them wind up being great and memorable. So glad this podcast was able to persevere despite all the shit they've been through.

One of my favourite things surrounding this movie to me was when I met Ray Chase at London comic con and I asked if he remembers voicing Gabriel and he did the voice and said “It’s time to cut out the cancer” for me and it was the coolest shit ever

I predicted the plot like 10 minutes in, my favorite part is where the end becomes backwards assassin's Creed. It was such a terrible fever dream I loved it.

James Wan discovered the same well M. Night Shamalamadingdong stole all his stories from.

Ok Gabriel Takes Manhattan is fucking GENIUS though because in one sequence they had the Silvercup neon sign outside one guy's apartment and the iconic Silvercup Studios sign is IN fucking New York, you could have a comparison shot to bridge the gap.

Established Titles, from what I can tell, is a Hong Kong based company with marginal presence in Scotland. Souvenir Plots, which is what they claim to be selling, very specifically don't belong to you by law. You basically get a contract saying that you have rights to your tiny plot, but they can theoretically sell the same plot multiple times. They also have permanent markoffs on their site, which ranges from morally dubious to literally illegal depending on jurisdiction. Bad news bears, I'm afraid. The entire scheme is a scammified version of several other souvenir plot sellers that have a more tractable presence.

I do not like Saw. It's torture porn garbage made to put me off my lunch. I do not like The Conjuring or Insidious. They're boring haunted house jump scare trash. I do however like campy b movie horror. Therefore this is the only good James Wan horror movie.
