Finding Orca in Scotland - Hulk and Nótt | March/April '24

After a beach day with our best friend AJ in Wales, we head back up to mainland Scotland in the search of more orca - our first for the year! We have some stunning coastal walks with some great views along Berriedale, Latheronwheel and Noss Head while out searching for Orca in some rare Scottish sunshine!
It didn't happen right away but our time searching finally paid off when we saw Icelandic Orca duo 'Hulk and Nótt!' We have been lucky enough to see Hulk and Nótt a number of times previously on Shetland but it was our first time seeing them from mainland Scotland.
We saw the duo up at Noss Head and although they stayed far out it was still amazing to see orca again. It doesn't matter how many times you see them, or how far away they are, there is something so special about seeing wild orca in UK waters.
