They didn't come from vine, they won season 3 on the Sing Off( it was in NBC). Their previous bass Avi left last year due to personal reasons( there's a video). The new bass is Matt Sallee.
Ye' the MUA Scott used to do a LOT of Vines though! :-)

Dani Plays Avi is most definitely not with PTX anymore. He has his own band called ‘Avriel & the Sequoias’ now.

Not sure if you know this, but Pentatonix has an original self-titled album which they co-wrote and arranged that charted at #1 on the Billboard 200. So they don't just do covers.
whenever you're listening to pentatonix, it's best using headphones or proper speakers to get the full bass from matt/avi

Not sure if you know this, but Pentatonix actually was in Pitch Perfect 2, they had a small part as team Canada at the end of the movie.
I think only Scott did vine, Mitch too a little bit. But not the rest. And only one member changed, the bass. Everyone else is the same from the beginning. Kevin beatboxes full time for entire concerts man, he's a beast! Would love to see you react to more of them 😊 Have a good one!
LOVED your reactions and I can see what you mean with the resemblance to Kevin (the beatboxer) .... LOL! The former bass, Avi Kaplan, left after their last tour (last year) because the videos, music albums and touring had become too much for him and he wanted to slow down and spend time with his family. Matt Salle, Mr Yellow Shirt, came on as a substitute during the holiday season and was announced the permanent replacement just a few weeks ago. He's done some solo work since leaving as have the other members of the group. Scott and Mitch are known as "Superfruit" and have their own albums and TH-cam channel filled with yumminess. Kirstin Maldonaldo put out a solo album this past year and I highly recommend checking out her video "Naked". Kevin Olusola (the beatboxer) put out some of his own music and did a bit of showing off just how super-talented he is in a few videos ... recommending his covers of "Sign of the Times" and "Down".
Rachael Romine hopefully the will look into what you said they need to learn about the old then they will like the new

So... I got to watch your reaction because it came up on my recommendations. I watch Everything Pentatonix! I loved that you paused and expanded your reaction comments - very authentic!
Everyone has already told you about Matt Sallee & the Sing Off season 3 (btw, if you have any downtime, you should watch the s3 compilation of their performances - definitely worth it)!
Kevin is super talented too beyond ‘just’ beatboxing! He speaks 4 languages, plays 3 instruments and before he was asked to join Pentatonix, had just graduated from Yale , studying medicine.
I hope that you Do review more PTX stuff (that’s their Official unofficial name), they have a new album out on 13 April Top Pop Vol 1. Which very likely means that there will be another new song released on that day too!

The only member that had a significant online presence before the group was Kevin with his viral video of celloboxing, that's how the group found him.

They have lots and lots of music. You should absolutely do their evolution of ariana grande, evolution of michael jackson, and evolution of beyonce! In addition to many many others. Those are bad ass! Great reaction!
It looks like The Partridge Family Bus. Another 80s show about a musical family.
Yellow shirt is a new member. He's replacing the former base who quit last year because the pace that Pentatonix keeps was too fast for him. He wanted a more mellow music career close to home with friends and family around. His name is Avi Kaplan, and he has his own TH-cam channel and music. And the girl is Kirstin and she is either still or just coming off of being in Kinky Boots on Broadway. I really enjoyed watching you guys! Lots of fun and joy and you can't get enough of that! They are the greatest A Capella group of all-time, learn the names. If you react to their videos, I'll watch even if you don't learn them.

Just found your channel. Yous are lit. I'm a sub now.
And Pentatonix was never famous from Vine. They won the Sing-Off in 2011 and used TH-cam to make themselves known. 'Yellow shirt' is Matt. He joined the group last year after the other bass, Avi, left. The beatboxer is Kevin. He has a whole EP where he plays cello and beatboxes, or cello-boxing. He really is incredible. The girl is Kirstin. She's super talented and very kind. She's a mezzo-soprano, which is why the dude with the epic mustache (looks like he finally shaved it off) sings the higher notes. Also, his name is Mitch and he's a countertenor. The blond guy is Scott. He's a baritone. He can hit some bass notes if Matt would sing the lead, and Scott's falsetto is pretty nice also. They are great live. I've seen them twice and bought my tickets for the third already. They have an album called Top Pop Vol. 1 coming out on the 13th. It's all covers.
I have a recommendation. Please watch Pentatonix Aha Singapore Star Vista. Mitch has some beautiful notes and you'll get to see Avi, the former bass.

I wish you would take the time to appreciate the singing of Pentatonix as the video is playing, and not stop the video until the very end. The jokes about members' appearances have no place in a music reaction either.
Don't be that kind of PTX fan. Let them react how they want to react. They obviously appreciated their singing throughout the video.
