    There is a famous Aussie Film called, "The Castle" one great line from it ------"Your Dreaming" used over and over in different life situations today. Get someone to Enamel the bath will be like new and worth the money. You are saving in other areas by doing the work. Remember you can be "A penny wise and a pound foolish" Cheers you two.     Nice job on the tiling Jolyon its looking good. A nice bit of Hard cleaning on the bath Chris. I am thinking that spraying it might be the answer . Sorry I missed last night s chat .😘🍷xx

    Make sure you research thoroughly before recoating the tub. My daughter painted her tub with top quality enamel paint, which lasted approximately 2 months before it started peeling. It was no fun sitting on paint slivers for her kids. They ended up having a professional company come in and coat it with porcelain enamel. It's lasted well for 3 years now and still looks new.

    Try using wire wool with an agent that removes limescale.

    I think it will need to be recoated again. But it is a beautiful bath.keep working on it.

    Try just plain white toothpaste with baking soda on the tub .
    I worked at a hotel and that was my go to for mangy tubs

    Have it professionally re-enameled. You got the tub for free. Spend some money on making it look great.

    Get enamel paint and redo the tub that will work. It is most likely calcuium in the tub
