Don't Look Under the Bed was great but unfortunately just didn't make the list. Tower of Terror and Life-Size were actually distributed by ABC, and Pixel Perfect came a year after this list's 2003 cutoff! But you have great taste ;)

The Luck of the Irish and the Thirteenth Year should be higher than just honorable mentions. They were two movies that Disney kept on playing for years after there releases. And what about My Date With the President's Daughter?

Kim Possible and Lizzie McGuire were shows. The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Freaky Friday, and The Haunted Mansion were in theaters, so not really a DCOM. Pretty sure The Cheetah Girls and the Kim Possible movie were released after 2002.

Halloweentown unfortunately didn't make our list, as with a bunch of other AMAZING choices, and as for Life Size... that was actually originally aired on ABC, not Disney.

Ah yes, Model Behavior is one of our all time favorites... BUT it actually originally aired on The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC and therefore is NOT considered a DCOM. But we applaud your choice in Disney classics ;)

i was born in 2003 but i have seen all of these movie and shows like lizzie mcgurie, that's so raven, even stevens, and Phil of the future and below, i was alive for most of it so i hate when people say i don't understand what it fell't like to wake up and watch these shows, yet i cry about those great feelings back then when i had gotin the last chance to see these shows/movies
+loco lese there's actually this thing called Diseney Rewind that they do on Disney Channel where they show old shows. That's So Raven is coming on Wed. 01/06/2016 at 11pm central us time.
I don't really know what the regular times for Disney Rewind are though, even if they've been advertising i wouldn't know cuz i don't watch Disney Channel anymore

thank you so much for this video it really took my back to my childhood it's unbelievable how disney changed so much throughout the years and i never realized that disney made so many sports movies like damn they went from skating to surfing to snowboarding and now they make musicals like really disney? how do you go from sports to musicals? i'm glad they still air all these movies but why so late at night on the weekends like C'MON DISNEY AIR THESE MOVIES WHEN PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY AWAKE i was obsessed with all these movies ESPECIALLY zenon and smart house i wasn't really that big of a fan of johnny tsunami but i have to say tru confessions was by far one of the BEST DCOMS because that movie is seriously the deepest movie disney has EVER made tbh it should of been in theaters because shia DEFINITELY would of won an oscar

These movies made my childhood! This brings back so many memories. They never show these movies anymore, and I can't find them anywhere. Even if once in a blue moon they do show them, it's at like 3 in the morning. And they don't announce it or anything, so no one knows. I wish they would make a throwback channel already! Everyone seems to want one, and I know it would probably be what I mainly watch. I miss these movies, and would love to see them again. I would love it if they would put them on Netfllix!

And to be honest, even if it was counting down all the best Disney Channel movies from all time periods, I still wouldn't put High School Musical at the top! Sure everyone went crazy for it! But the Disney Channel made so many more original movies that were better, more imaginative and inspirational than High School Musical! I could name ten just right here that I liked more... A Ring of Endless Light, Tru Confessions, Zenon Girl of the 21st Century, Going to the Mat, The Color of Friendship, Can of Worms, Smart House, Stepsister from Planet Weird, Now you see it..., Halloween Town, Minutemen, Don't Look Under the Bed, and My Thirteenth Year, were so much more interesting, and that went past ten! There are so many more as well! Yeah disney has gone downhill since 2003, if the next generation sees High School Musical as the best Disney channel original movie! Not that it's a bad movie, it's not! Just not the best in my opinion! And actually not as creative or original as you like to think! Both plot wise and character wise!

The Cheetah Girls trilogy, The Color of Friendship, Hounded, Halloweentown 1,2,3 and 4, Pixel Perfect, Phantom of the Megaplex, Dont Look Under The Bed, You Wish, The Scream Team, Eddies Million Dollar Cook-Off, Life Size, these were some of the other disney films that had many special messages and life lessons. Disney back then made good movies.

I thought Halloweentown should've been on the list. That by far was my favorite. Then the sequels...well that's usually how sequels go. They never surpass the original most times. I'm sad that the fourth movie had a different actress. Though, I did enjoy watching the movie series as a kid.

Can of Worms, The Color of Friendship, A Ring of Endless Light, Twas the Night, Halloween Town, Mom's Got A Date With a Vampire, Phantom of the Megaplex, Up, Up, and Away, Miracle in Lane 2, Double Teamed, Don't Look Under the Bed, Stepsister from Planet Weird, and The Poof Point should have at least been mentioned in here! My favorites were Can of Worms, The Color of Friendship, A Ring of Endless Light, Zenon, Stepsister from Planet Weird, Halloween Town, Don't Look Under the Bed, My Thirteenth Year, Brink, Jett Jackson: The Movie, Up, Up, and Away, Tru Confessions, ok so I actually liked most of the older Disney Channel movies and can you blame me! They made them really well back then and most had such unique plots and characters! They were so imaginative and inspirational! My whole family would look forward to when a new one would come on! We would make a movie night of it and all sit down to watch it! My dad was such a big softy, he loved those movies just as much as we kids did! Oh and of the ones after 2003- You Wish!, Eddie's Million Dollar Cook off, Now you See it...,Going to the Mat, Right on Track, Jump In, Go Figure, Pixel Perfect, and Minutemen! It actually started going downhill after maybe 2008 or 2009! Though I did really like Avalon High (because I thought it was actually a clever take on the King Arthur legend- and I really like the King Arthur legends) and Lemonade Mouth (an exception to my avoidance of movies where kids only want to be stars- because it did have some depth to it, and relatable characters)

Back when Disney movies had actual life lessons, and we're funny, and we're cheesy in a good way. Disney movies now make me want to take a sledgehammer to the face...
The thing is, my generation (late 80s babies) were being shown cookie cutter films but with heart and a thick message that I didnt even understand at the time but they didnt care, they were writing quality for kids (Brink, Zenon, Johnny Tsunami, Halloweentown, Luck of the Irish) and then some films like Color of Friendship, Tru Confessions, Full Court Miracle, The Jennie Project etc were straight up serious films with a social message to them yet for Kids! I take care of kids now, or with my friends young ones, and the DCOM films are just fluff... the moral is shoved in the last 5 mins, the whole movie is all fun and games and silly shit along with also just poorly written. The jokes/insults/dialogue in the pre mid 00s DCOMS felt more grounded. Brink for Christ sake was a film about the struggles of a middle class home not being able to make it on and having to sacrifice the things you love to make things meet but to never lose yourself in the process.......

Im sorry #1 is halloweentown! let's not forget it & its 3 sequels are the only pre HSM era films that STILL AIR on Disney in the DCOM time slot (yes only in october, but still!) the others (if your lucky) might air at like 1-2am on ocasion but thats only to fill the time between DC and Disney Jr.

Tru Confessions was one of the best movies I've ever watched, and I would've never seen it had I been asleep at 3 in the morning. Bawled my eyes out watching that movie

The Thirteenth Year was great but there were just so many amazing options! And Wish Upon a Star actually was NOT a Disney Channel Original Movie. It was distributed by Disney but it was actually not produced by Disney. But we totally agree and love them both!!! :)

Those aren't on the list because none of those are actually DCOMs. Model Behavior first aired on The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC. Cody Banks has no affiliation with Disney at all. And we're not sure what 'Big Kid' is...

those are Disney movies, but not Disney Channel original movies. Just like high school musical one and two is a Disney channel original movie, high school musical:senior year wouldn't be considered a Disney channel original movie because it was released in theaters, so its just a Disney movie.
