Silver, the milkweed plant which supply nutrition for the eggs,caterpillars have been destroyed eradicated in urban,surburban and agriculture areas. Milkweed is critical for the survival of monarch butterflies. Grow milkweed it is easy and you will be rewarded by monarch butterflies all around.
I live on many acres, and I have 3+ acres dedicated to milkweed. It truly is a magical sight when the butterflies hatch and begin to fly. I walk through the milkweed and will be covered with Monarchs. I need to take a video because it is so breathtaking.
It's so interesting to see the life cycle of a butterfly. Our crew filmed the lifecycle of caterpillars, showing how animals use unimaginable resources to survive. And it's so interesting to see that caterpillars even digest themselves during the metamorphosis.
After a long time i felt something worth watching on TH-cam. This video has a lot more deeper meaning one can relate with our lives. Thanks for such a wonderful video for entire people who are part of it for bringing to us 🙏😍
I've seen a few injured butterflies and I make a point to help the at least off the ground so my little daughters see and learn from it. They use to be scared of touching them but I showed them to use leaves instead and that helped
I have , in my gardens , 4 beautiful Butterfly Bushes. These gorgeous bushes have been gracing my yard with butterflies for over 20 years. I live in New England and the beauty of the Swallowtail and Monarch Butterflies never fail to enthrall me. Within the last two years I have been astonished by the Hummingbird Moth. When I first sighted this amazing insect, I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. I thought it was a hummingbird but it was too fuzzy. A little goggling and there it was. They don’t look like months, they look like hummingbirds. Their wings beat very fast, their tail is notched like a lobster tail, they are of common color… grey, brown, black, and they are covered in fuzzy hairs. It is a miracle to watch them unroll their long proboscis to drink nectar. I have seen very little to large hummingbird moths.. such a thrill. Butterfly’s , bees, hummingbird moths are a welcome byproduct of long hours in my flower gardens.
About ten years ago, I found a Monarch butterfly with a broken wingbone outside flopping on the ground next to my car. It seemed that my neighbor was very irresponsible when taking her dogs out and one chewed this one pretty badly.( I learned this afterwards ) I gently picked it up to examine it and brought it inside. I thought quickly to try to use crazy glue gel and quick freeze spray to fix the wingboneas I was doing this the butterfly seem to be cleaning through to my thumb as if to allow me to help it. As soon as everything was dry, I waited to see what the butterfly would do. It flew over to my kitchen table and hung to the tablecloth. Now at that time I lived on the third floor so I didn’t want it to go out the window in the event that I could not fly. I brought it back outside and placed it on the sidewalk in front of our building. There is a park across the street after a few moments the butterfly open and close the swings a few times then begin to lift up off the ground, picking up height and speed, flying across the road, higher and higher over to the park! I kept watching it until I could no longer see it in my sites. I was so happy that day that I was able to help one of God’s creatures.
This video leaves a viewer in awe of beautiful butterflies, especially the Monarch! Thanks to the videographers who shared these wonderful moments with us.
They left out the incredible migration this small insect achieves. They winter in Mexico, then fly north into the US. They lay eggs as they travel. Each successive generation flies farther north, and leaves behind the eggs of the next generation before dying. At one point, the generations start heading back southward. By the mid November, the final generation arrives back in the Mexican forest sanctuary where they spend the winter. Not individual butterflies, but the species makes a several thousand mile journey each year!
It's so interesting how this little butterfly has come to be. It seems so sad though that after they finally are able to fly that the only have a few short weeks on this Earth. They are so amazing and whenever I see them which isn't very much these days I can really appreciate 💞💞🐛🐛🐛
A strange feeling and perception which drove me to this Second Fruit. It was like this: One time when observing the season of spring, I saw that the successive caravans of beings, and especially living creatures and the small young ones at that, which followed on one after the other and in a flowing torrent displaying hundreds of thousands of samples of the resurrection of the dead and Great Gathering on the face of the earth, appeared only briefly then disappeared. The tableaux of death and transience amid that constant, awesome activity seemed to me excessively sad; I felt such pity it made me weep. The more I observed the deaths of those lovely small creatures, the more my heart ached. I cried at the pity of it and within me felt a deep spiritual turmoil. Life which met with such an end seemed to me to be torment worse than death. The living beings of the plant and animal kingdoms, too, which were most beautiful and lovable and full of valuable art, opened their eyes for a moment onto the exhibition of the universe, then disappeared and were gone. I felt grievous pain the more I watched this. My heart wanted to weep and complain and cry out at fate. It asked the awesome questions: "Why do they come and then depart without stopping?" These apparently useless, purposeless little creatures were being despatched to non-existence before my very eyes, despite having been created, nurtured and raised with so much attention and art, in such valuable form. They were merely torn up like rags and thrown away into the obscurity of nothingness. The more I saw this the more my inner senses and faculties, which are captivated by beauty and perfection and enamoured of precious things, cried out: "Why does no one take pity on them? Isn't it a shame? Where did they come from, the death and ephemerality in these bewildering upheavals and transformations which persistently attack these wretched beings?" As I started to utter fearful objections about Divine Determining and the grievous circumstances of the outer face of life and its events, the light of the Qur'an, the mystery of belief, the favour of the Most Merciful, and belief in Divine unity all came to my assistance. They lit up those darknesses, and transformed my laments into joy and my weeping into happiness and my pity into exclamations of "Blessed be God! What wonders God has willed!" They caused me to declare: "All praise be to God for the light of belief." For through the mystery of Divine unity I saw that all creatures, and particularly living creatures, produce truly significant results and have general benefits. In Short: All living beings, for instance this adorned flower or that sweet-producing bee, are Divine odes full of meaning which innumerable conscious beings study in delight. They are precious miracles of power and proclamations of wisdom exhibiting their Maker's art in captivating fashion to innumerable appreciative observers. While to appear before the gaze of the Glorious Creator, Who wishes to observe His art Himself, and look on the beauties of His creation and the loveliness of the manifestations of His Names, is another exceedingly elevated result of their creation. A further elevated function of their creation is described in the Twenty-Fourth Letter, and is their serving in five ways the manifestations of dominicality and Divine perfections which necessitate the infinite activity in the universe. I saw that if it is a being with a spirit, besides benefits and results such as the above, since it leaves behind in its place in this Manifest World its spirit, and in innumerable memories and other 'preserved tablets' its form and identity, and in its seeds the laws of its being and a sort of future life, and in the World of the Unseen and Realm of the Divine Names the perfections and beauties it has mirrored, its apparent death has the meaning of a joyful release from duties; it merely passes behind a curtain of death and is hidden from worldly eyes. Beautiful & grateful for these wonderful little creatures that can teach us so much about ourselves. A metamorphosis as such seems almost impossible, but nature shows us that even the most beautiful change is possible. And like the caterpillar we must be patient and diligent towards our tasks to get there. Then, there’s always the period of refraction or shadow period (cocoon) before the final beautiful result. Then we must continue to learn to spread our wings and shine on others with the blessings we’ve received.
Ever since I was 7 and watched the Monarch Butterfly go from an egg to flying in its final stage, I've always been totally memorized to watch the incredible changes.

I have a accidental habitat below the rail of my back porch. I try to be there when they hatch and I have had them move on to a stick if they fall in a cramped or dangerous place. Being able to rescue one and watch it spread its wings and even poop is beautiful.

How beautiful Heavenly Father's creations. This message is wonderful for teaching us to enjoy the outdoors, the blue skies instead of being inside the house looking at our phones, playing fake games, watching TV and missing the wonderful opportunities of getting fresh air, the warmth of the sun etc. This spring and summer I will spend more time outdoors and enjoy the beauty of our Earth
Very beautiful video. Plant milkweed plants to help the monarch butterflies. Never buy silk, the silk worms in the pupae/cocoons are boiled alive. Choose kindness over cruelty. When we know better we can do better !
Fun fact, caterpillars turn into complete goo inside the chrysalis. They do not even keep the same little body, it is a complete reconstruction except for a few teeny pieces. Even more amazing, they can retain some memories from their caterpillar stage in their butterfly stage.

This message is wonderful for teaching us to enjoy the outdoors, the blue skies instead of being inside the house looking at our phones, playing fake games, watching TV and missing the wonderful opportunities of getting fresh air, the warmth of the sun etc. This spring and summer I will spend more time outdoors and enjoy the beauty of our Earth

Fun fact, caterpillars turn into complete goo inside the chrysalis. They do not even keep the same little body, it is a complete reconstruction except for a few teeny pieces. Even more amazing, they can retain some memories from their caterpillar stage in their butterfly stage.
