Sitting on a dark station in Sweden drinking a beer waiting for the train to bring me home, and listening to this song. Makes you feel stuff. Great song.💕
One of my ALL-TIME Favorite bands ! Had a chance to see them@ The Capital Theatre in Passaic , NJ . LEGENDARY VENUE ❤ This was 1985 touring for the Will The Wolf Survive Lp . Richard & Linda Thompson were the opening act.. LOS LOBOS BLEW ME AWAY , 3rd row ! One of the GREATEST BANDS EVER ! LIVE , JUST WOW ! !
That reminds me the time I was too much concerned about keeping my hair in tiptop shape while my partner talked about screwing cows. Good times at South Central.
Nope - unless you're giving honorable mention to saxophonist Steve Berlin - who did guest spots with The Plugz. And even then, Steve had his earlier roots with Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs (alongside Carlos Guitarlos) - the Monday night house band at Cathay de Grande. And before that a stint with the Blasters and the Flesheaters. Maybe you're thinking of Tito Larriva? Also a mainstay - with Alice Bag - on the East LA Rockero scene? Understandable - since Plugz made a bit of a splash with their amped up take on 'La Bamba' in the early days of the LA punk era. Great, long lost days in the Hollywood of my (misspent) youth.
This lead guitarist can play that telecaster all day for me.
That’s none other than Cesar Rosa!

One or two of these fellers were in the punk rock band 'the Plugz.'
