Question! With a character like Rickenback x the blue fox emblem, do they have to be main slot party or can their effects still be utilized in a secondary slot? Thank you for the amazing content!

Iv'e not tested it with that item but in general you will want them as main slot unfortunately which is a bit of a pain so most times you will have fred in a team as a buffer due to his 20 percent extra damage for the team....passives only work on leaders for the team also with that blue fox emblem if you had it on rickenback it will only get the extra on kill and if you were to put her as second she would not activate her dropping blue TP orbs ability so would be a bit wasted 👍

Different perspective on rickenback and catherine, thanks! But I wonder if you properly tested Castevere or the Wyvern Riders to come to this top 5 list? Their levels were lower than the rest
Also fantail formation is a formation skill so Umarida can use it too. So not sure why you would rank her above Umarida when you specifically said dont worry about her other skills and her abilities are lacking

Hi i had different saves tested most of the units to a good level they all have there purposes and can work very well in different team set ups the reason why rickenback is ranked above umarida is not becuase of damage umarida is way above her on damage as are quite a few others however even on the toughest difficulty after applying wither fantail formation with her pretty much downs every opponent...when it does she then gets a blue orb from each to add to the TP pool making her the best for getting easy summons with this trick you can get back your ep and hp whenever you want with goldhorn etc👍

Unfortunately I've not played in some time sounds like they've changed things up massively as those picks decimated the hardest content for me very easily at the time👍

I don't find Fred's bonuses worth using a cav unit. Assassins/Fantail archers don't really need it so using one of your 4 slots for a meh unit isn't worth it. I do like using Fred as the leader of my farm team. The 20-30% extra damage can help under leveled units.

I find the 30% with the crown allows for a lot of units to just lay waste to enemies especially fantail formation etc but he does seem like a bit of a wasted leader unit in the fact that most times you just use the sub unit

cav unit are amazing for aggro the map and then goup them nicely in a single point . i have speedrun all the mid/late game this way

Estalt is probably high up because Ignition access is busted. He also has Focus for even better uptime. Basically = Shivalt with actual damage.
Rickles Cooldown Reduction + Ignition + Trap Caster (with CD reduction) is a hilarious set up after mounted charge or wings. She can pretty much set up walls of death and farm that sweet TP. Trap caster has more than 300 power if it's fully charged.

I find myself using izelair to drop the giant shield thing that draws enemies to attack her, then I use andrias to just kill all the enemies with assassin, shivat to cast sanctuary over and over, and then I have umarida cus she's amazing, no words needed to express her.

basically my set up. Bunch them up with Izzy, ambush with Andrias, Control and heal with shivat and blow them to pieces with archers

Looking at your character list I see a couple are missing so I guess they will die or leave the Blue Foxes.
