A villa for a family who loves biodynamic agriculture - FL Architetti (Tour of the house)

This project was born to make a precise dream come true: to build a modern villa with an adjoining farm that integrates perfectly with the landscape. After being on site, the client fell in love with the place and decided they would start their own regenerative organic farming business in the hills of Gassino Torinese.
The external design follows the old plan of the rural building from the 1930s, however the renovation involved a restyling of the shape by integrating modern volumes and materials. The concrete extension overlooks the wonderful valley and with its minimal lines gives a modern character to the classic but still revisited farmhouse. The bio-pool, located in front of the master bedroom area, uses natural materials for the functioning and filtering of the water and is like bathing in a lake or river.
The internal design recalls the materials used on the outside, therefore stone, concrete and brick. The warm tones of the brick and wood warm up the rooms and thanks to the light points positioned in the house they create visual emotions at any time of the day. Even the use of staggered bricks and the positioning of glass in the holes that were created, also allow daylight to penetrate.
The large windows have been designed to fully enjoy the heavenly view that changes every season.
The style of FL Architetti, in AMILU FARM, is well balanced between tradition and modernity, as well as studying complex and effective forms, amplifying and integrating the characteristics of the landscape, creating a villa that excites and gives emotions.

C'entra con l'ambiente circostante come i proverbiali cavoli a merenda. Se è dove penso, c'era una meravigliosa vecchia cascina. Spero di no perchè sarebbe un vero delitto. Che gelo, in confronto alla casa originale...
