    This is very good and detailed tutorial.
    I'm not sure how on 21:59 it does'nt gives you an error massege since the nodes on each mesh are not connected, so it can be solved like that

    thanks for the video, but my programm gives me some errors
    1 - when i applied the mesh to the lifting lug to 5 mm, graphicaly nothing changed, also on the bolts mesh to 2 mm
    2 - when solving a message pops up with "general error" and one other "the pretension load could not be applied. make sure the load was not applied on a hole "
    i followed evrything step by step, also did it twice but nothing changed.
    someone have a solution to this?

    I got an error on 28:50 solve tree models saying *An unknown error occurred during solution. Check the Solver Output on the Solution Information object for possible causes.*

      Try this alter Solver settings to max cores=2 and uncheck Distributed.

      Try this, alter Solver settings to max cores=2 and uncheck Distributed.

    i have made this far and in the end when i clicked solve button it says invalid geometry.its my D2 learning ANSYS. lol
