    The crazy amount of customizable features, including pedal height on the V12 makes it one of a kind. Not to mention the waterproof rating and overall safety of the wheel. These factors truly outweigh the cons such as 16" and weight.
    V12 for me!

    Doesnt v12 have adjustable pedal height though?
    You’re saying v12 has higher pedals than nikola, even on the lowest setting?

    You keep talking about the V12 pedal height as a factor... but it has adjustable pedal height. Which setting do you have your pedal height set to? If anything the V12's easily adjustable pedal height (first of its kind; S18 adjustments are far more difficult) gives it an advantage over all the wheels here

      16" suspension should be a sweet spot for offroading trails. Added torque of a smaller wheel, slower speeds when offroad, and suspension will be a killer combo. Just needs to be robust and simple to repair!

    You said the v12 will out accelerate even the RS high torque? Is that true and was proven in practice against each other? I thought the RS ht has higher acceleration than the RS hs and the torquier the wheel the more acceleration? The V12 pedal height is adjustable so if learning you can have at the lowest setting for the greatest stability on street and if more advanced and ride technical trails you can set it at the highest position and no other wheel allows you to carve as tightly as you can with the V12 at the highest pedal position

    So, with the V12, how much is the apparent lack of stability related to the pedal position. It appears from your comments that you were riding the V12 with the pedals set on the highest position..which I guess would make the wheel much less stable than having them set on the lowest position. Likewise with the braking, is this not adjustable in the settings on the screen or in the Inmotion app? Interesting review, they are all attractive wheels even if a bit heavy for my requirements.

    • @ZenLee
      @ZenLee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      great questions, appreciate them. 16 inch wheels in general are less stable due tp smaller tire size, combined with my pedal positions wasn't the best. Would need to experiment more with adjusting the pedals, but quite frankly it just wasn't an appealing wheel to me, so was eager to ship it to next reviewer. I prefer EX, EX.N, or RS TQ for my personal choices.

  • @Andre-Mostert

    Awesome area to ride, I wonder how stable the V12 would be on the single track trails and gravel track compare to the 16X that I tested. But it looks like a solid wheel. We will have to see when more people get them and put some miles one. The RS with the bearing is always in the back of my head especially here in the wet UK. Keep on making them.

    Only have 500 miles on my Nikola 100v so far (a 6 week new rider) so I can't compare as I haven't ridden other wheels ... but the Nikola is smooth, waterproof (ask Duf), durable (anyone see that guy fall off the back of his Nik and it hit a light pole at 26 mph) .. min damage ... a freakin' tank ... good speed and more range than I'll need, good trolley, love the RGB and speakers ... and I agree with Real Talk below .. probably best wheel Gotway ever made ... Tesla too narrow a tire, RS shell looks cheap & probably weak in a downpour or fast crash ... and the V12 ... nice wheel, but even after seeing the leaked photos and specs, I pulled the trigger on the Nik ... but that's just me ... thanks Zen, great stuff brother ... that crash is here (th-cam.com/video/8xJpisDEetQ/w-d-xo.html ... read comments about the wobble .... guy admits it was his fault, bad stance and distracted by his drone .. and he rode it home after the crash .. lol).

    I wasn't keen on the hollow motor design of the MSP. A lot of people have found that the bearings rust and fall apart when it rains. Obviously it doesn't rain much where you are but it's a factor elsewhere. The V12 looks interesting but it's a new wheel and most new wheels have issues. I recently bought a Nik+ and I'm very happy with it though I'd prefer a more scratch proof case.

    • @ZenLee
      @ZenLee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      MSP is pre-hollow motor, it's now the RS which has hollow motor. The new RS bearings on models coming in next month will have updates. The Nik+ is a great buy!

    • @ZenLee
      @ZenLee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm...I'd have to see your terrain to know what kind off offroading. In general I'd get the RS Torque over the v12 any day, but few situations where I'd get v12. IF you want the best offroader, I'd consider the EX, currently in stock at revrides with discount code 'zen100'

    Wheel comparisons are some of my favorite EUC content! When I research wheels to buy, I think of three common use cases: Category 1 Short range lightweight get around wheel, Category 2 Long range group ride wheel, and Category 3 off road torquey jumper wheel. Of the wheels discussed in your video, I think RS19 fits all three categories fairly decently as the best all rounder wheel, with Tesla covering Cat 1 really well, Nikola+ (1800Wh) covering Cat 1&2, V12 covering Cat 2&3, and AR Nikola+ (2700 Wh) covering Cat 2 really well.
    For me, I’m not much of an off roader, so I went with Tesla for Cat 1 and AR Nikola+ for Cat 2. Super excited for it to come in!

      @CrunchyTire 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 2700wh AR+ is not very efficient on battery. The range gain is not equal to the battery increase from the V12 to the Nikola. With voltage sag or droop or whatever when you ride, and the inconsistent data on the EUC apps due to the "modded" battery, riding it under 10% gets kind of sketchy too. Alien Rides website calls it a 50 mile wheel, and thats pretty accurate. But 2700wh should really get you more than that. if I stick to 20mph I Can get 60 miles out of my V12 HS

    • @euc_sharkman
      @euc_sharkman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CrunchyTire It's not a "modded" battery by any means. The Nikola AR is an official model of the Begode Nikola line as an agreement between Alien Rides and Begode, built by Begode with Alien Rides branding on it, and exclusive distribution.
      Your range claims citing conditions like riding under 20 mph is also suspect. My daughter can ride my Nikola AR under 20 mph on smooth level pavement and can probably get 100+ miles. If you're trying to say a v12's 1750 Wh battery isn't that much less than a Nikola AR's 2700 Wh battery quoting efficiency, it just sounds like battery envy.

  • @joet2463

    I been rolling on the Tesla V2 and it fits my style of riding being it is very nimble to weave in and out of traffic and people and my average cruise speed of 18-25 and the fact that it is portable. I was hoping the Tesla V3 version would be rolling on 18" or 16"x3" wheels then that would be my pick. I'll wait for the V12 production model review. Until then I'm leaning on the Begode RS torque for now even though I know for sure I'm not going to utilize all that power potential.
