However, what impressed me the most was your complete lack of self-consciousness or hesitation to film wherever and whenever you felt it would add to your narrative no matter who was near. I can't ever see myself ever able to overcome anxiety to be able to do that which makes my admiration all the more. I wish you the best in your future travels!

My first international flight was to Rome, with a connecting flight in London. Our flight left from LAX 3 hours late, which only gave us 30 minutes to get to the second flight at Heathrow. We got to our flight on time, but all of our luggage was left behind in London. Word of advice, always fly direct. No layovers, no connecting flights.

I´ve been flying alone since i was about 12 (now 18), airports are really easy to navigate, there are signs everywhere and if you´re unsure of something there are people always willing to help! This video really is helpful for those flying internationally or for the first time :)

This video was so helpful. In a few months I’m supposed to fly from Washington, DC to Scotland for my friend’s wedding and I have a connecting flight in Ireland. I’m so scared. I have such bad anxiety and sense of direction and I’m worried about missing my connecting flight. I’ve only ever been on a plane once when I was a child, and I’m doing this alone. I’m worried that I’m just gonna have a panic attack at the second airport because I hate not knowing where I am or if I’m remembering all the steps I need to do at the airport. My friend in Scotland has travelled all over the world by herself. I even offered to pay for her to come to Ireland and then we fly to Scotland together because I’m so afraid. But she thinks I can do it by myself.

Especially for long haul flights take frozen bottles of water( they can go thru security ) and you will have cold water the entire flight. And always pack plenty of your own snacks . Much cheaper and better than what you’re going to grab from the airport .
