    You might also consider looking into the symmetries of another Fibonacci repeat cycle. When you take the first 12 digits ( again, arrived at through the reduction of decimal parity ), 1,1,2,3,5,8,4,3,7,1,8,9 and align them atop the second 12 digits, 8,8,7,6,4,1,5,6,2,8,1,9 you'll find that they all add ( vertically ) to '9' ( except the last 9 + 9 which adds to 18, though again with reducing it with decimal parity it also becomes a 9 ) and 9 X 12 = that curious number 108 ( which also reduces to 9 ). Just more curiousness to puzzle over :)

      +Andrew Dimitt Very interesting!!! This inspired me to make another video, which is at th-cam.com/video/NuvwTHZJTAA/w-d-xo.html I just added a note to the video that mentions the total to 108, yet another amazing curiosity to puzzle over indeed. BTW, I would like to add a note somewhere near the beginning of the video on the opposites totaling to 9 like "Thanks to Andrew Dimitt for this observation." BTW, I believe that Jain (goes by the name "Jain 108") mentions this too but I need to refer to his books to verify. Thanks!

    One really interesting thing that got left out of this video is the 60 degree pattern in which you pair together #'s that are seperated by 60 degrees or 10 digits. The result is the same fibonacci type of sequence that's happening with the 5's and 0's every 30 degrees. (0-5-5-0-5-5-0-5-5-0-5-5)

    +Dan Hoffer and +Ray: I added this comment from 19:13 to 20:22:
    "Also, the 12 pentagrams starting with the red pentagram alternate between being drawn the "long way" of 144 degrees and the "short way" of 72 degrees.
    Also these 12 pentagrams are in this order: even-odd-odd repeated 4 times.
    Also these 12 pentagrams are in this order: backward-forward-forward-backward repeated 3 times."
    This will help fill in some of the additional information that Ray wants in the video.

      +David Cochrane yeah what you are calling the short pentagrams can be looked at as pentagons, so it starts with an even #pentagram, followed by an odd# pentagon, then an odd #pentagram followed by and even # pentagon
      . So every 2 #'s on the wheel have all the digits0-9. It's like some kind of sequencing going on.

      BTW, I like the terminology of pentagon and pentagram better than short and long pentagrams because it is clearer and of course that is the shape you get when you draw the lines . . . but somehow I ended up calling the short and long pentagrams because I was staring at pentagrams in this diagram.

    Anne Massey describes the Venus retrograde cycles in a lot of detail in her book on Venus that she wrote for Llewellyn. She didn't show the pentagonal shape when she described the new venus and full venus cycles, probably because she kept them separate - New Venus or inferior cycle in the middle of the retrograde period and full venus or superior conjunction on the other side of the sun. Neat addition with the pentagon. I was born just after a retrograde station of venus in aquarius when it was also conjunct mars in 1966. I've always been fascinated and drawn to sacred and profane geometry and mystical mathematics. I guess I would say the zodiac reflects or is one more manifestation of this geometry, which is a fundamental process or property, a kind of universal law.

    Also, another interesting fact about Pisanos is that they will always have 1,2, or 4 zeros, no matter the length of the sequence. I wrote a python script to run a bunch of these and found some more patterns. F(30) has a P=120. Most multiples of the modulus 30 up to 360 have a Pisano period of 120. moduli 30,60, 90, 120, 180, 240, 330, 360 all have periods of 120. moduli of interest might be F(150) with P=600, F(210) with P=240, F(270) with P=360, F(300) with P=600.

    I divide my circle by the modulus, so points every 36 degrees. labeled point 0-9. I used pisano period sequence to connecting points. this is my understand of how "magical" sigils are composed. another pattern comes up. points every 72 degrees with 0 degrees oriented "north" or up, 0( 0), 2(72),4(144),6(216),8(288) forming the upward pentagram and only repeat in the pisano 5 times. Where as, the downward pentagram points 1,3,5,7,9 repeat 9 times each in the pisano. 1,3,5,7 and 9 connect to every point, whereas, 0,2,4,6 and 8 only connect with their clockwise and counterclockwise neighboring points, and points at clockwise and counter 108 degrees and 180 degrees. up and down are arbitrary and due to starting point. 108 emerges as a multiple of 36 degrees. Most of these patterns are somewhat attributed to the base number used. that might be interesting, using a different base number. especially considering the different base systems used throughout history.

    Hi .. check this up .. if u count from any of the 4 zeros to the # 19 ( the number of fruit of life which implicates the Metatron & the 5 Platonic solids ) u will always ends up with the main 4 numbers = 1 & 3 & 7 & 9
    whether u count clock wise or counter clock wise ... isnt that amazing ?
    now try to draw a line connecting these numbers and look what u come up with
    i must really say i havent seen such a symmetric shape ever

      This is the big question that Kepler and so many others have tried to answer. My opinion is that the music of the spheres has some similarities to light waves and some similarities to sound waves and there is not a straightforward translation from the music of the spheres to music. Consequently we will never be able to get a perfect music out of a perfect geometry or from a music of the spheres any more than we already have. I have a lot of videos that I have in mind to make and some day I hope to find time to make one about this.

    • @CosmicCybernetics
      @CosmicCybernetics  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good observation. I think that by "reduce" you mean adding the digits in a number such as, for example, 437 = 4+3+7 = 14 = 5. This calculation is the same as a modulus 9 so, in other words, if you divide 9 into 437 you get a remainder of 5. In the video at th-cam.com/video/SwHRg_IUPpU/w-d-xo.html the 24 numbers in the 9 modulus of the Fibonacci numbers is discussed.

    • @jmpsthrufyre
      @jmpsthrufyre 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Cochrane Yes, that's what I meant by reduce, just adding together each # in sequence from left to right, until you are left with a single digit.

    • @CosmicCybernetics
      @CosmicCybernetics  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The zodiac in a chart wheel has the signs counter-clockwise because the zodiac signs are in counter-clockwise direction when you face South and the astrology chart is drawn as if you are facing South. If you face north the zodiac signs are clockwise. So it's a bit arbitrary whether we think of the zodiac signs as being clockwise or counter-clockwise.

    Except there are 13 constellations that pass through the solar house... The Maya have 13

    • @CosmicCybernetics
      @CosmicCybernetics  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The number of zodiac signs on the ecliptic plane can be counted in different ways. There can be 12 (very common), 13 (Mayan and harmonic), 108 (navamsa signs), 27 (nakshatras), 28 (lunar mansions), 18 (ancient Babylonian), etc. One can proclaim one of these as the true zodiac but there is no solid empirical quantitative research to determine which, if any zodiac, is valid. Also, if one proposes that physical constellations and zodiac signs are equivalent (most astrologers do not) it gets very fuzzy, as shown, for example, in this video: th-cam.com/video/XTzAmw4rGKw/w-d-xo.html There are people who very emotionally adhere to various lineages of astrological ideas as the one true astrology but research and critical analysis is needed to determine which, if any, are valid. Just saying there are 13 signs because of one possible way of counting constellations or one astrological tradition which is not the most extensively used one does not make it true.

    It's only an analogy. But this kind of thinking is not exactly strictly rational, more like sacred brainstorming? So just some loose thoughts: Something you see here is that where you start on the wheel matters. Each of us is a temporally anchored consciousness. So where we begin that existence in time would correspond to the entry point on this wheel, and perhaps have to do with the different dimensions of time astrologers refer to as progressions.
    I get the feeling this shape is the result of looking at a two dimensional representation of a more-than-two dimensional fractal. Remember fractals can have fractional dimensions, 2.37 dimensions, whatever.
    You forgot one pattern. The wheel is itself a zero :)
    More seriously, if time, which appears to us as cyclical, is in fact helical--a series of cycles--it may have precisely this pattern woven into it. Consciousness may be shaped or harmonized according to something that while very alien to us, is still governed by the same math principles woven into every other part of the universe. Not an answer but an interesting question.
    60 contains 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,12,15,20,30,and 60th harmonics. Is this why you see signs and pentagrams? I wonder if there is something similar for the 7 pointed star and the 84th harmonic.
    Finally Richard Merrick has some writings you might find interesting. www.interferencetheory.com/index.html I'm not endorsing them because I cannot understand enough of it for that, but this reminds me of some of the places his mathematical thinking has taken him.

    • @CosmicCybernetics
      @CosmicCybernetics  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Astramancer Thanks for posting the link to Richard Merrick's work!!! I planned to read his book some time ago and forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!
      I do think we are at the beginning of figuring out some foundations of astrology in physics that have been unknown and we are just at the beginning. Fractional dimensions and also basic things like imaginary numbers are likely to figure into this at some point but I have not yet figured out how.
      This may sound strange but I suspect that this is not an analogy but the actual basis of the zodiac. Consider, for example, that there are 3 fundamental properties of subatomic particles: mass, charge, and spin. Spin is not literally spin but does have angular momentum which gives a vague connection to circularity or a spherical quality, involves modulus functions in some of the quantum mechanics calculations. Also, Nassim Haramein's work strongly suggests a geometry of space and there could be a geometry of space that is a function of spin related to modulus functions of Fibonacci numbers and the structure of prime numbers.

    • @astramancer5151
      @astramancer5151 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Cochrane No matter how fringe a researcher gets, they are still wary of directly mentioning astrology. Once you go there, it's hard to ever get back. Look at Kary Mullis - Nobel prize winner. There is no level of genius that lets you keep your mainstream credibility and still see the reality of astrology. Richard Tarnas for example is to be commended for having the courage to go where the facts and evidence led him. So anything that brings even a suggestion of the possibility of a connection between science and astrology is helping both fields, in my opinion. I think you're doing very worthwhile work in your investigations, and especially your efforts to enable others to do their own investigations with your software.
      I read Interference Theory a few years ago and made a note to myself to come back and go through it again more carefully. Some things take a few readings for it to get through all the preconceptions you bring to it. I'm particularly interested in synergy between his investigations and other sacred geometry work.
      I had worried after posting that comment that you might think I meant that *your* post was an analogy. I meant that what *I* was about to say was just an analogy :) Normally we think from a to b to c to d. When I composed that comment, I was thinking like: a to b to 7 to cube to unicorn (God, if that makes any sense!) so I wanted to be clear that I did not intend for it to be understood in a strictly linear way. Just thought it might spark something.

    • @CosmicCybernetics
      @CosmicCybernetics  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Astramancer Ah, and I did indeed misunderstood and you meant that what you wrote is an analogy . . . and a good one. I am looking forward to reading Interference Theory. Thanks again for mentioning it.
      These are exciting times for sorting out what astrology is and making some steps in figuring out the music of the spheres. Keep up the great work and with some luck at least a few of us will make some breakthroughs.

    The mathematical and geometric properties observed relate to the mysteries of creation and our relationship to the cosmos. Fascinating and profound. However, my studies have taught me these are not coincidences at all; they point to astronomy not its corruptive form - astrology.
    How does this relate to an affect upon our lives? There’s a tempo to the injection of cosmic material into our inner solar system. A tempo that can be mapped onto the zodiacal representation of the Great Year - precession.This cosmic material is responsible for “bad times” on Earth; otherwise known as catastrophe.

      @@reallyshiesty2436 You'll get the Mercaba in the "digital root" of the fibonacci numbers. Instead of doing this, where you have a repeating 60 digit pattern, where you're looking at the last number, instead, if you take the digital root, (basically add the digits of a number until you only have one number. for example 576 would be 5+7+6=18 : 1+8=9 so 9), if you do this, you'll find a repeating 24 digit pattern in the fibonacci sequence. this will give you an interesting Mercaba pattern of 3, 6, 9.... 3, 6, 9....
