As much as I love gas airsoft guns I live in a place with a high anual thermal amplitude. This means I will have a gas gun running low during the winter and too hot in the summer... BTW - and I know I say this every video - your production quality is so good that you are making us all other channels look bad!

This channel is by far the most in-depth airsoft analytics channel I have ever come across and seriously one of the best, if not the BEST in youtube. Great review once again! This Challenger concept is an awesome idea - I hope more manufacturers will jump aboard. With that being said, I find it a bit odd that VFC went with the M733 and not something like the SR-16 or BCM. Finally, the loudness test was a cool addition and should be part of the grading system! The personal opinion at the end was also cool. I hit the bell as soon as I see a new review is about to drop. Love your work!
Great work with great grading system you guys have created. Looking to see more and more manufacturers sending their products for the test. You guys should also think about issuing 4UAD test report to certify the test results you have got for manufacturer who asks for the test, just like independent laboratory test report for many products out there. Then, you can charge for the testing fees to fund your channel/team. I felts like your team efforts are too far from doing just for FUN. Cheers and thanks.

yesss thank you for testing the gun indoor, on a stand, aligned and everything. But for more accurate results, you should clean the barrel and hop up and use dry gas.

As always what a production quality!! Do you think you could also mention the joule output. For instance here in the Netherlands we measure not the fps due to joule creep. But measure the joule output on a .30g bb. Keep up the good work!!
I really like this video and the tests you guys though. Though, I am unsure about some of the conclusions drawn in the gas efficiency test. The magazine was filled with 22.4 grams of gas. After firing for 51 times, the gun stopped cycling. Did the gun stop cycling because all the gas was used, or because the magazine was too cold? We’re you able to weigh the magazine after and see if any gas remain? 1.1 grams of gas per BB fired seems like a lot even in the cold
That is a good question indeed, the gas efficiency test is to test how well a gun performs under low temperature, despite the amount of gas that is still left in the magazine. airseal is the key. The gun stopped functioning properly because of the cool down, and yes we are certain there are still gas inside. Can the humidity of Taiwan be affecting the shots? When I shoot in Taipei, Dayuan, and Kaohshiung I notice a difference in my groupings. Also I think the green gas itself with the lubricant is one reason for the sticky problem
I think sometimes it does, but it’s just we don’t have a way to prove it just yet. Might be a good episode material. However if we are shooting outdoors it will be different for sure!
I would say the chance is really low, because WE actually uses a fire control "box" design, instead VFC looked more realistic with the hammer and the whole control group.
On a sidenote: check out that cough of your cat. Specially if it's frequent. On another sidenote: This is the best airsoft intro for a review I have seen so far =D
Thanks Phil, I took the cat to a doctor a day after the shoot, he said it was the hair issue, once it’s out he will be ok. So far I haven’t seen him does it again. Thanks again though, the cat says thanks too!
@@4UADSmartAirsoft My little chonky boy was coughing and we thought something like a hairball too. Long story short he has cat asthma and has to take medication. Cat astma is more frequent then people belive, so I'm glad yours is fine ;)
The most thorough airsoft review I’ve watched so far, great job guys and keep up the good work! I just got the bcm mcmr and I think the internal are mostly the same if not all. You mentioned that you have fired 6k+ rounds through the 733, so I’m wondering how’s the bolt release holding? How bad is the wear on the point of contact for both the bolt carrier and the bolt release, and has it every failed to catch on the last round? My mcmr had some inconsistencies and I found out that’s because the little reset spring in the bolt catch lever is extremely hard, so I had to cut down the spring a bit to make it weaker, and now the mag spring is able to push the bolt catch lever all the way up to the top to make solid contact with the bolt carrier. But I’m a bit nervous about the wear one the carrier as it’s been rounded off on the corner already. How’s it look like after 6k+ rounds?

It would appear that the "problem VFCs" are the AEGs and specifically those not imported into America. For some reason it seems the UK ones get a lot of flack. I have no idea why there would be a QC/component quality or assembly difference? I would think for the price they command that VFC would want to make sure they are sending out the best product available. I have a U.S. import VFC Sabre and after a year of light use it started having intermittent "dead trigger" for no rhyme nor reason. and thus had it serviced and also re-shimmed by a local shop. I switched to a HPA MTW and now the VFC is a back-up. I feel that LONG TERM in addition to initial use/testing is what would be needed to determine VFCs build quality. They are beautiful replicas, but for the price they also need to perform at a commiserate level of durability.
Does that have a NPAS or no? There seems to be some inconsistencies where Asia gets it and NA doesn't or something. Some people seems to find issues with the NPAS not being about to hold consistency fps
So far after the test all I did was changing the hop up bucking to a regular marui bucking (note: need to trim off the side bump) and the gun shoots laser

最近在看MP7A1，得知大家推崇的KWA有些問題後有些小失望
後來發現VFC也有做這把，研究後才發現，二代版本把外槍管從一代塑膠改成鋼製。
小小的更動讓我對這家槍廠有了興趣，加上VFC相較KWA的採吋正確，沒意外應該會入手一把來玩。
最後還是要感謝你們製作這麼用心的影片，希望之後能出個同款槍PK(例如各家的MP7集評WE VFC KWA)
或是差不多價位各家槍廠廝殺，雖然有點殘忍，但對於入手生存空氣槍的觀眾而言是一大福音。
上面有人留言手槍評測系統不能用步槍那套我也這麼認為，手槍是不是可以參考IPSC的規則下去玩測時?

另外你們的圖表和實驗結果的呈現看起來真的超舒服，除了耐用度沒辦法測試之外已經可以稱得上是完美了

我個人也有一把他們的BCM MCMR，什麼都好，但問題也是像影片裡所說的，彈道真的很不穩定，下場打超過20公尺的目標有很大機率是靠運氣(雖然是用.3的彈)，如果能改善這個問題，我覺得他們現在所推出的步槍是最完美的。
其實我在想更換皮會不會效果會提升起來, 因為我們那把M733 測完後我就換皮了,然後準度提升不少, 不過MCMR的快調式我也沒試過....先試試看換皮然後彈重建議提升到0.36以上沒意外應該會好不少喔!

I would say the chance is really low, because WE actually uses a fire control "box" design, instead VFC looked more realistic with the hammer and the whole control group.

Thanks Phil, I took the cat to a doctor a day after the shoot, he said it was the hair issue, once it’s out he will be ok. So far I haven’t seen him does it again. Thanks again though, the cat says thanks too!
@@4UADSmartAirsoft My little chonky boy was coughing and we thought something like a hairball too. Long story short he has cat asthma and has to take medication. Cat astma is more frequent then people belive, so I'm glad yours is fine ;)

The most thorough airsoft review I’ve watched so far, great job guys and keep up the good work! I just got the bcm mcmr and I think the internal are mostly the same if not all. You mentioned that you have fired 6k+ rounds through the 733, so I’m wondering how’s the bolt release holding? How bad is the wear on the point of contact for both the bolt carrier and the bolt release, and has it every failed to catch on the last round? My mcmr had some inconsistencies and I found out that’s because the little reset spring in the bolt catch lever is extremely hard, so I had to cut down the spring a bit to make it weaker, and now the mag spring is able to push the bolt catch lever all the way up to the top to make solid contact with the bolt carrier. But I’m a bit nervous about the wear one the carrier as it’s been rounded off on the corner already. How’s it look like after 6k+ rounds?
We have not experienced a single bolt release failure, except for times we forgot to top off the gas :P
Hey buddy yah so far the bolt catch seems alright, and I haven’t had it run into any failures just yet. I think it will hold

Thanks haaha I would say if you want good performance MWS is the way to go, however if its easy for you to find back up parts VFC is not bad too!

The thing is, i live in a country where its 30c on the summer and -1c on the winter, so Im afraid that the gun won t able to perform on these temperatures.

It would appear that the "problem VFCs" are the AEGs and specifically those not imported into America. For some reason it seems the UK ones get a lot of flack. I have no idea why there would be a QC/component quality or assembly difference? I would think for the price they command that VFC would want to make sure they are sending out the best product available. I have a U.S. import VFC Sabre and after a year of light use it started having intermittent "dead trigger" for no rhyme nor reason. and thus had it serviced and also re-shimmed by a local shop. I switched to a HPA MTW and now the VFC is a back-up. I feel that LONG TERM in addition to initial use/testing is what would be needed to determine VFCs build quality. They are beautiful replicas, but for the price they also need to perform at a commiserate level of durability.

Does that have a NPAS or no? There seems to be some inconsistencies where Asia gets it and NA doesn't or something. Some people seems to find issues with the NPAS not being about to hold consistency fps
This one they took the NPAS now, no more fps adjustments

So far after the test all I did was changing the hop up bucking to a regular marui bucking (note: need to trim off the side bump) and the gun shoots laser
