The first kind of weaving I started with was actually inkle weaving. So I learned warp faces first. Still love going back to my inkle looms

Thanks Chris. I've been wanting to do a smallish kitchen floor mat and this video has been very helpful. 😁

I’ve done some rep weave placemats. Fun! I also do a lot of tablet and inkle weaving, both of which are warp-faced by nature.

Take up. Difference of driving over the mountain, rather than through it.

@ActonCreative or in this case, driving over a rocky mountain vs driving over a speed bump.

Hi Chris! I have a question about warp. To use rug warp or not, it is the most cost effective. And to buy cones or tubes. Is there a different way to use cones vs. tubes? Do I need a completely new set up to move to cones? And do cones unwind in a different way which would affect how I would wind onto the bobbins? I am using a 4 shaft floor loom now, YAY! And I love it, but it is completely different from my rigid heddle in almost every way (from the standpoint of warping.) And to cap all the differences off, my loom has a sectional back beam. Any answers from anyone one would be deeply appreciated. And Thanks in Advance :)

@@Sue-ec6un Hi Sue! I'm all in favor of rug warp. It makes for a very sturdy warp! You are welcome to use cones or tubes & interchange them - it's no problem! Have fun with the new loom!
