The only thing that anyone needs to know about this game is that it is always out of print. You can seldom get the sourcebook you want, dice are never in stock anywhere and production runs appear to be in the dozens when they need to be in the thousands. This is a brilliant game being ruined by the publishers and possibly also by GB who are the main distributor. If you won't stock it, we can't buy it - and as wargamers we WILL go and buy something else. Maybe we will come back - but probably not.
I bought the rulebook just a day ago and I agree to that. I bought the basic rules + Age of Vikings supplement, but getting BOTH in one order was the issue. Either the shop didnt have the base rules or the supplement and dice or tools are non existent anywhere. I really dont understand why it is so hard for them to make more regarding the demand for the game is not low.
I don’t like the movement changes. Going to make the type of maps you can realistically play on very restrictive to sparse terrain without making it painful unlike last edition. Forget a battle in a town! I think most direct path to destination would have worked better.

I have found this to be very true.

You were incorrect about resting a unit. The rules clearly state on page 31 that a unit may only rest once per turn.
