Ever wonder what a Homeschool Mom does in a day? Well, every day is different and every homeschool Mom is different and every family is different. Here is my day! Full of parenting, life, #momlife. Because my daughter picked Monday as our Day in the life you will see us not only homeschool but attend therapy, AHG, dance, gymnastics, and trail life. Not to mention to many times my kids need to eat. I have 4 kids, one has special needs / down syndrome.

We had a year where I over committed and haven’t done that again!
Love your wonder woman alarm! And there's that R2D2 bowl again! :) When I was leading a youth group, some of our teenagers had never peeled an orange before when I set up some opportunities for them to prepare and serve fruit to the church. Life skill, for sure! Awww...back in the day when you could have a 30-kid valentines party!

wow what a day I really enjoyed taking a peek of what your life looks like on a Monday! I would need more coffee LOL!
Quitting coffee gave me so much more energy believe it or not. Oddly enough if I do have coffee, the side effect are really bad (full body rash, can’t sleep for literally days).
We just go on to the next curriculum as well when we finish. :)

I feel you on every day being different. Our days don’t always even look the same week to week. I’m sure you will encourage someone who feels like they can’t homeschool because of all the things going on in their life.
The intense therapy is a season, at least that’s what I tell myself. One thing that helped me was to schedule 3 of her sessions back to back on Tuesdays and that’s all the school Sophie does on Tuesdays. This way we’re only out of the house for 2 days instead of 4.
I tried scheduling them back to back and it just wasn’t working 😢 She was throwing a fit and refusing to work. Now it is everyday😞

I didn’t video our bible study either for a similar reason, I don’t mind sharing the parts of reading God’s word, but I want my kids to feel comfortable to ask whatever questions they may have and to be open to discuss without feeling nervous about answering wrong or whatever.
IEW is definitely on my list for next year.

For reading curriculum how about All About Reading? I used that with my eldest and currently using again with my twins and they are thriving with it. I'll bring it with me to the evaluation with you so you can see it, if you'd like.

So nice to meet you! I have always wanted to go to Ireland, it's on my bucket list. I am so glad you get to homeschool! I hear from some others, from other countries, that the law is so strict, they cannot homeschool and they wish they could (for example Japan). My daughter will turn 4 in September. They grow up so fast! Keep in touch!

Yes! I understand over scheduling. I have been working on what I need to do to correct that. It wasn’t until I edited this video, I saw how ridiculously busy I am.

I have a video on how we are homeschooling PreK. But mostly it's manipulative, active play, play-dough, coloring together, singing, alphabets.

We got 4 books and just started today. So far their pretty easy but I’m hoping they begin to challenge them a bit. I love that they are infused with Jesus and bible stuff though.
"because you know all homeschoolers do is party!" Hilarious!! So many people think we don't stick to a schedule and interrupt our day or think we should be able to drop what we are doing to do what helps them.... it's annoying!

7 on a good night. When I only get 3 hour a night, then I’m dragging. It’s really weird and I really think it’s my diet.
It must be really scary having a kid that constantly tries to escape. She's so cute, though!
