I like that Asya is in quiet Station 3 and it’s a beautiful hotel, but that seaview room at Seaworthy is absolutely fantastic! I think you’ve sold me on that one, we might stay there at least a couple of nights on our next trip. Thanks Rob🤙🏾
Great video! Lind and Asya are amazing hotels! Also I heard the Auhana has been sold to Henann. Auhana seems to be closed now and they are improving. Also Henann has just started to build another hotel at the top of station one right before the walkway starts to Diniwid. They are perping the land now.
Thanks. That's interesting about the Auhana becoming another Henann, I think there is enough already in Boracay. I heard about the new one at station 1. It's going to be branded as a more upmarket Henann under the Anali brand. I saw they also have plans for a Henann in Mactan Cebu too. They are becoming like a 7/11 popping up everywhere!
Yes too many Henann. People pick to stay at Henanns because they are a safe pick without having to do any research. Thats why your videos are really needed and good. They open people's eyes to other great options in Boracay!
We stayed at the Crimson resort, excellent hotel great food,,top staff very expensive but you can enjoy the hotel with a nice variety of options,, it’s just down the beach from Shangri-La resort,,😊
I want to level up but my pocketbook isn't willing. I'll just have to wait for your next video on affordable hotels. I am curious though, could you hear the noise from the beach at the Seaworthy hotel?
Thanks, I'm working out how to put that video together, it may have to be in 2 parts as there is quite a few. It only really got a bit noisy at sunset when the people came out. It's not as busy at the main area of Station 2. There was a couple of vacant buildings to once side as well. So that wasn't really an issue.
I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't include the Henan Garden Resort in Station 1 in your list? A super great resort, which you can really recommend and where we will stay 100% on our next visit to Boracay. It can certainly keep up very well with your test objects and I think even surpass one or the other. Highly recommended. 🥰❤👍👍👍
I do like the Henanns. I did rank all 7 of them in Boracay another vlog th-cam.com/video/nT7uFqrqcqg/w-d-xo.html and an updated video here th-cam.com/video/tWV3VK7-4IY/w-d-xo.html . Personally my fav is Crystal Sands. But all the Henanns are good and I do like Garden too, just not as much. It's all personal opinion, everyone has their own views.
Another nice video of beautiful Boracay... love it, nice work. You just need better control of the mic when talking to people, the back and forth with it when you're talking causes confusion as they don't know when to start speaking.. distracting for the viewers too
Same with in Cebu the kandaya Resort in daanbantayan is a must if up north I had the beach pool villa for 2 nights and did a night in one of their hotel rooms to very nice felt like heaven
I might consider checking out Boracay. The only reason I don't go there b/c as Cebuano I'm pretty have it all in Mactan Island or any Cebu provinces...even Bohol 😊
Those 2 places are great. Boracay has it's pros and cons too. Like the touts can be annoying and its tends to be more expensive than other parts of the Philippines. But that beach is amazing!
"Have you worked out there?" "We're not allowed, Sir" came the reply from the lady at The Lind Boracay. Rob Brand not only interviews staff to extract almost every snippet of useful information to travellers one could think of, but he also - without going overboard - injects a bit of Australian humour into his explanation. Rob also tells it as it is: if the weather's less suitable in say September, he'll inform us. In short, Rob is a first class reviewer who doesn't lace his videos with irrelevancies. Another example was when reviewing Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa, Rob opined that the coffee wasn't 'quite as good' as an alternative, but 'better than a coffee stick'. Compared to those ubiquitous airline business class reviewers who gush about everything but never state any downsides, Rob's videos are 100 times better.
Hello Bob, hello everyone I hope you are well, excuse me for disturbing you, I am planning my trip to the Philippines for the month of December, and I came across your channel which is very interesting really, I would like to have your advice regarding the best hotel in which my husband and I can stay in Boracay, knowing that we still want to be close to station 2 and the d mall, my choice was first made on shangri la and the lind as well as movenpick, but I see that they are isolated so to speak, in addition to the bad alley leading to the lind Which hotel do you recommend to me? knowing that I heard you talk about a Henann Crystal Sands, honestly what is it like? What is the breakfast buffet like? the restaurant? the rooms? Thanks in advance
Thanks for the question. Judging from your hotels you mentioned you're looking for something more upmarket. The 5 star properties tend to be at station 1 and 0. I do like Henann Crystal Sands I did do a review here th-cam.com/video/tWV3VK7-4IY/w-d-xo.html to see if it suits you. It does get busy and that includes during the buffets they offer. Compared to other buffets on the island it is one of the better ( although those other 5 star resorts buffets are better). I also liked Feliz Hotel Boracay it's actually in the D'mall (rated as a 4 star hotel) but not beachfront. I did do a video on the place here th-cam.com/video/hQ74EG0ymSI/w-d-xo.html skip to 7.26 mark of the video. You can see if it suits you. Mandarin Bay is a 5 star resort you may want to look at. It was still under a soft opening when I was there as you can see in the video so it's not quite operating 100% In case you haven't watched I did do my top 10 resorts and hotels video here th-cam.com/video/nJSrWWWsjSY/w-d-xo.html If you have any other questions let me know. Cheers
@@FindingParadise Thank you very much for your response Bob! that’s really nice!!! Actually, yes I agree about Feliz and Mandarin Bay, except that as you mentioned, the Feliz is not beachfront, and on the Mandarin Bay side, I believe from the videos that I I could see that they don't have a skypool, or at least I preferred the one at Henann Crystal Sands, I think my choice will fall on Henann Crystal, given that the 5 star hotels are all far from station 2 , and we still prefer to stay close to the epicenter of the island but not stay in station 2 LOL, so I suppose that Hennan is the most suitable according to your videos, the only two things that leave me hesitant are precisely the So it tends to get crowded with people, and the second thing is that it's still old, it was built in 2017, so... So I'm honestly confused
I'll help you out, go for Crystal Sands. Don't worry so much about finding the "perfect" place you won't find it. The negatives are not major or deal breakers .Concentrate more on you the time you will have your husband that will bring you more joy than the hotel. Have an awesome vacation
Thank you sir for visiting The Lind Boracay, It's my honor to be part of your video, hope to see you soon. ❤❤
best regards - rona
Thanks Rona for showing me around. Sorry it took a while to upload. Take care
Great review Rob. "And just down there is seaworthy" LOL great line. Good job mate!!👍
Thanks Sam! Keep well

Yeah I like that view it's best! Since they only have one don't leave it till the last minute to book that room!
Another nice video sir heading there next week September 18,19,20 hopefully not too busy but then again it is Boracay take care .
Thanks! I hope the weather improves. There's been a bit of rain about the entire PH
I'm hooked on your boracay series! Will you be putting out a new one soon?
Thanks! I'm trying to get the next one out in the coming week. I had some health issues with my foot which has kinda delayed things.
@@FindingParadise speedy recovery sir and looking forward to your new videos ☺️

Shangri-la. Hands down, the best The high price keeps out the riff raff. You get a higher class of tourist staying there.
That is true!
Same with in Cebu the kandaya Resort in daanbantayan is a must if up north I had the beach pool villa for 2 nights and did a night in one of their hotel rooms to very nice felt like heaven
Yeah, those ocean pool villas are so beautiful. I do feel Shangri-la is a bit more upmarket, though. Kandaya is a more peaceful place
I might consider checking out Boracay. The only reason I don't go there b/c as Cebuano I'm pretty have it all in Mactan Island or any Cebu provinces...even Bohol 😊

Thanks Edmund. I find the staff know the product the best and then I put in my 2 cents worth! The Lind is a really nice place to stay in Boracay!
First hotel in station 1 is also quiet has a 15
Min walk to 2 nd hotel
Yeah I like that area of station 1.
