just tape the film lead to the spool, been doing it on my t3 for months, only downside is carrying a little thing of scotch tape everywhere lol
lol. Cant believe I didn’t think of the simplest solution. Any problems doing this or has it been totally fine?
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto it's been totally fine, was a little nerve racking the first roll, but it has been totally fine lol
Brother you just saved me a $300+ repair bill to send this in
I super glued a piece of plastic to the spool on my G1... Seems to be a common Contax issue. It's working fine a dozen rolls in. If it ever breaks again, I'll probably use tape
Thats why im afraid to buy any analog camera over 500$
I now agree hah
depends on the camera, a Leica M for example is a very safe bet :)
Ohhh good you got me struggling with a ticket machine. And it was in English.
I buy and sell stuff online and i can assure you that you will be able to find these glorified pieces of plastic for way less if you hunt around. One interesting observation i made recently is how a street photographer showed his camera on video and now it goes for up towards $500 on ebay while not being rare at all.. what's even worse is that the same camera can be found in different bodies, sold under different brand names and then being a hard sell at $30.. furthermore those rehoused, later models seem to be way more rare. It's a strange market.
Pricing for a lot of vintage camera gear is all hype in my opinion.
There is a Swedish saying; ”Nobody remembers a coward!” I followed this saying and bought a Xpan! Now everyday is an adventure, until it breaks!!
You should a comparison t3 vs fujifilm x100v
I've heard of a lot of T2's breaking, and that they're done repairable to appoint?
You need to buy three of them to be safe. =D
It’s meat
