Great video. Sad, but very respectful. I have four family members who are Jehovah's Witnesses, so I remember them talking about this case a LOT back then. Nobody I know knew this family, but the crime devastated them as if it had. Nearly every Witness I know has at least one story of violence against them during their ministry, and many accounts have involved guns. My cousin and the Witness with him were held in a barn at gunpoint by a Baptist deacon. A woman I know had a shotgun pointed and racked at her head. Some attacks are committed by former members. I personally attended a Witness funeral for the child of a woman I knew (I didn't know her son) that was crashed by former Witnesses who'd left the faith. It was one of the most disgusting thing's I'd ever seen in my life, and the memory of seeing those nuts carrying on and shouting in front of the coffin still burns me up. No matter what people's beliefs may be - whether social, religious, or political - nobody deserves to be hurt, humiliated, or killed because of disagreements. Life's too short.

Never heard of this case,but absolutely heartbreaking,over here in England,when some murders are committed,the scum that commits the crime often get a sentence & then it actually gets reduced & they get let out,the justice system in this country is shocking, personally I,d bring the death penalty back mate, rapists, serial killers, peadophiles etc should be put to death.

I cannot fathom how evil some people can be. It’s just mind-boggling. I happen to believe that all six should have forfeited their life for what they did.
They were not "arranged in the shape of a cross". Frank Waddell was a first responder and he went on record to refute this myth that DA Bell mendaciously floated out there to the public. Two triangles connected creates a Star of David, not a pentegram, so that is another Bell myth debunked. Jason Bryant was the only one who had gunshot residue all over him, so he was the only provable shooter (even Bell admitted this). Jason was on probation. The others had no history of violence at all, and Karen, Crystal, Dean and Joe had no criminal record to speak of. The myths surrounding this case are much more fascinating than the reality. The murders were not a Satanic cult act. It was the work of a single little sociopath with a history of antisocial behavior who was on parole.
@@McAndrewTravels That is untrue in the case of the actual murder (kidnapping and other charges can be brought against some of the others though). The evidence proves this. I can direct you to a place where you can get a thorough breakdown of this case (sans myths) if you are interested.
@@surfleopard that is correct. this was a horrific senseless crime that should not have happened but unfortunately many people only regurgitate the lies told by the DA. all of the six did not deserve the same sentence of life without parole. dean, crystal, and karen should have been out of prison a long time ago. even natasha for trying to stop the crime has served more than enough time. jason and joe are where they belong.
