this is the best guide and the longest guide so far. This looks like a course that helps me utilize my character to the smallest details in every nook and cranny. Thank you sensei
@@Quilla_Kocha I appreciate it! It’s been super fun to make them, but at the same time super time-consuming, so I’m glad people find it useful and thorough
Rlly good vid as always bro. I would like only to add one little detail, her red form spin can quickswap too, it's just harder and a bit strange to do, you need to swap at the start of the animation and swap back rlly fast holding the attack button.
@@AznvasionsII there is two vids that I saw they doing. One vid it's from Eshizora channel showing her doing this, the name is "small overview of how Camellya quickswap works". The other it's in the Yumi channel, he have one speedrun with Changli + Camellya that he uses the red spin quickswap at the 0:21 sec. The name it's "PEAK CAMELLYA CHANGLI QUICKSWAP!! - Tower of Adversity [Wuthering Waves 1.4]" The YT don't like links so I can only show the name.
It appears that they recently hotfixed the time stop on Liberation/Intro not working properly today. Yesterday, the animations for other Resonator's attacks were still being carried out.
It depends on the units. Some older units actually straight up don't have timestop, or most of their Liberation they don't have time stop. Only the newer limited units have full timestop for entire duration of Liberation. For example, Verina has both timestop and non-timestop. The tail end of her ult animation when the camera pans out unstops time, and uses up about 0.75s of your timer and enemy animations. There are exceptions of course, like Danjin surprisingly having full timestop on her entire Liberation cast.
@@AznvasionsIIyinlin as well has initial time stop and resumes before the ult is over and it’s kinda annoying to deal with I’ve been knocked back after casting her ult plenty of times.
I did the math, the white hair form absolutely does more damage if you use the basic attack string rather than hold down the charged attack, its not by a lot but if you truly are teying to macimize dps against a boss. White hair is the way to go. The attack value is of all the basics added together is higher than the blossom state
The question is, is it time effective, maybe more damage but is it higher dps? It's 0.7seconds longer so it can be less dps, also you could lose buffs due to camellya rotation already being long and then adding 1.4 seconds on top of that, even more if you quickswap her first heavy
No, all it really saves you is a few restarts on content that requires maximum dps. I would save your astrite for a unit who's S1 grants more utility, like Shorekeeper's.
The Interrupt resistance for Ephemeral is nice, but it's too small part of her rotation for me to deem it a good reason to chase the S1. Generally, the only things that knock her out of Ephemeral are big vertical attacks, so they should be quite noticeable and dodgeable in advance. Her S1 is a nice bonus, but really is just a stepping stone to S2. If you aren't thinking on eventually going S2+, then her S1 isn't worth it imo.
Always quick with the upload king, nice. Will say is it okay not to hold the attack button during her rotation sometimes? Responsiveness issue and finger reason on my end
Impressive video, it really did cover literally everything... EXCEPT you falsely mention that you can't swap cancel her spin, this is not true! If you're fast enough you can backswap to continue the full spin duration. Is it useful? Probably not, but you can do it. Also, if you swap to Camellya while she's in red her mode and don't attack, you can walk around in the form instead of hanging from her vines.
Honestly, I didn't know that. Thank you for the info. I've been trying and couldn't pull it off. You can also Lib cancel your Red Hair moveset if you were DPS'ing in overworld, and want to be able to run around, since it will also bring you back down to the ground :)
Traditional camellya hypercarry rotation as shown in your video loses sanhua buff in budding mode no? Why not healer>camellya depleting 10 pistils>swapping to sanhua before concerto fills>camellya dps window?
@@evgvc if you’re fast enough, you only lose Sanhua’s Outro on the last 2 slam hits and dismount. Its damage loss is more significant from mistakes and delays, which is why I don’t prefer the trad hypercarry rot I listed. At the same time, it’s also easier to play than the half-way Sanhua rotation…which barely qualifies as Quickswap, but it is. The halfway-Sanhua version is the exact team I normally play. Because you don’t have Sanhua’s buff for the top half of Camellya, all you’re doing is guaranteeing the bottom half is buffed, even if you delay and dodge on bottom rotation. While bottom rotation does much more damage, losing Sanhua’s buff for the entire top half makes it so that the Quickswap rotation is only slightly more DPS. The real reason to do Quickswap though is cutting the rotation times down allows her to align team dps windows better with the ToA time limit, so that you don’t have to worry about your 4th rotation ever leaking past the 120s mark.
It's +20%, so about a bit less than 10% overall damage, since Atk stat in-combat for a full team is usually 100% scaling +100% from echoes + team buffs. Or like, going from 200-250 to 220-270% Atk scaling with Sanhua's S6. Should be worth about 800 damage per hit on the spin.
@@JoyBoyed it would be very tight, I might include that as a bonus in the team build video, alongside a Camellya Changli Rover team. There is some specific tech needed to make those triple dps teams work.
Only thing coming to mind is white hair camellya heavy into backswap changli skill into backswap spin changli followup into finished camellya spin into yinlin liberation rotation, coming back to double stack changli, forte ult forte, swap to camellya, intro rotation with swaps to yinlin and her forte, back to camellya doing her powered up rotation with yinlin forte as background dps I have no idea if that is even possible regarding forte and ult regens but sounds cool, if not arthritic XD
