Quick comment on that kids with black belts thing. So at my MMA gym, we had this younger kid, just turned 16, i was already 22. He was a karate black belt that started MMA. He trains for a few weeks and it came time to spar. In my mind? Idgaf about that black belt, He's a 16 year old boy and im a real fighter. Anyways, kid ends up blasting me with a round house to the body (i told him he could hit as hard as he wanted) that had me in pain for like a week. Kid busted my rib up pretty good. I put on a poker face and finished the session, but don't sleep on kids too much 😂. A small difference in position and he definitely could've dropped me with that kick and the kid was only like 120 pounds. Definitely impressed me
In fairness to the Kids having Black Belts, I actually see both sides of the Argument. You laid out the progress aspect, but here's the thing. It should be about Mastery and Ability. We don't allow Children to compete in Pro Boxing, Pro Wrestling, or MMA for a reason. It's a legitimate critique of the watering down of the Martial Arts.
I do personally hate it when children have iPads. There is NO reason a little kid needs one. I will die, on that hill. I don't have a problem with a kid having a black belt, as long as it takes a couple of years to get it just like adults.
Auto body guy here - Car doors very in weight depending on when they were made and what they are made of 😅 Lifting the door isn’t really crazy, but the fact that it snapped off the hinges like that is highly illogical
