Great out-takes. Love how Helen sabotages your ongoing, high-minded but doomed wish to be a serious blogger. Little story about the Golden Grid in scarbra. Went in one late afternoon. They seemed happy enough to see us. Served us our meal, and after a few minutes we noticed they'd all put their coats on. One of them came over and said "Our bus is due. If I give you the keys, would you mind locking up when you've finished and post the keys back through the door? Ta!" 😁 Edited to add how much I enjoyed in particular the Lake District segment and the stiff walk up Scafell. Those Lakes walks really take me back.

Hi, first time I've posted on one of your videos, but I've been watching most of the year since I stumbled on you checking out my two local seaside towns of Southend & Clacton, really interesting to get a Barnsley Boy's take on my home patch ! I've got totally hooked in now and though I have no desire to live "van life" myself, am slightly older than you two (and don't drink !!), we are of a similar generation, so I can really relate to what you do. I took early retirement 3 years ago and love driving around the country, checking out different towns, going on (short!) walks and taking photos then doing write ups for a Facebook group. You both have such likeable personalities and seem to enjoy celebrating the simple pleasures in life while we are here in this mad world today and watching you both on here always puts a smile on my face and some warmth in my heart. I love the North generally, my mum was from Bury and any relatives I had (all deceased now) were from the North West so it's lovely to see you visit areas I've enjoyed so much myself many years ago - and places that are now on my "to do list" ! Wishing you both a Happy New Year and safe travels with lots more fun adventures (and pub crawls!) in 2024, Neil
