You know, all the shows on netflix, disney plus etc. I really don't care. I just like watching Sorin's detective work and the finale of "we have picture!" Great job mate :D
The skill Sorin is to know where to look and to know how different solders work and behave together. Without your KnowHow I am not surpised that the computer have been to only three computer shops. Well done, amazing.
Easy £100 you say? Sorin, you earned every pence of that fee! Also it wasn't luck, that was pure knowledge and skill we witnessed repairing that $h!tshow of a motherboard.
I wonder if the shop who replaced the charging port smeared the liquid metal while they were replacing the charing port and simply replaced it with heatsink compound. The 2nd shop seen the liquid metal drops and just closed it up.
Fine attention to locating damage! Sorin has the Golden Touch!... The most satisfying sound is: "We have Picture!" I think the use of gallium paste is far too risky. Gallium forms an amalgam with almost "all" metals, most notably are Aluminum, Tin, Lead, Copper, Zink and some forms of steel. Having that said, most if not all parts of a computer consist of many if not all those stated. The amalgams formed between gallium and any given metal forms an alloy that is brittle and susceptible to failure from thermal change. There are many TH-cam videos showcasing the effect of a small amount of gallium with aluminum, this is why gallium is forbidden from being brought onboard an aircraft. The detrimental effects of gallium far out weigh any benefit.
why you dont get a small bga reballing kit to repair more laptops? you can get some universal stencils and also some for vram/ram (its the same layout) then you can repair broken laptops with soldered ram. you can get all in 80 euro, so then you repair more laptops and we get more content
properly calibrated fuse is epic but also I'd say the worst part, where the LM could go is either shorting the caps on next to the cpu/gpu die OR if it lands under the cpu/gpu and shorts some of the BGA pads there 😈
we need some fail videos from time to time, to keep our expectations alive. if you put all your fails in one video, I always say "of course we will have picture, this is not a fail compilation! " when I'm watching a normal video.
Thank you very much brother🎉 but please remove the battery when you work on laptop 😔 please check on 14:11 and I recommend you you put at least two screw one motherboard when you start dynastic 😊
hahahhahahahahahahaha legendary when sorin saw numbers for screws lol ! when someone asked sorin how you sort your screws answers was ahhh randomly from table! (which is normal for skilled electricians) idk why but I laughed so crazy :D
Maybe it was a miracle, or maybe many technicians have overlooked the components desoldered by liquid metal, specially around the cristal. I'd check that if someday I stumble upon a job like this.
Did I just see you plug in the screen cable while the battery was plugged in? Just a little earlier the charge light came on when you plugged in the charger: that means the battery is plugged in.
Hello Sorin, I follow you for a while and you're doing great and useful content. I was wondering which model of your electric screwdriver show in this video do you have, because it looks very handy and useful. Thank You in advance. Keep up the good work!
Singurul condensator care nu putea fi exclus 😂😂😂 fără el nu funcționa oscilatorul 😂😂😂 tura asta erai obligat să pui condensatorul😂😂😂 I have pictureeeee😂😂😂 Frumoasă exclamație!
Sorin you are so happy that you're not speaking well 😁 like thermal paste go in to the cpu i unplugging the battery to use das it hold the charge 😁 Buth its ok we understand and i no that filing when sometimes dead go's alive agin.Nice job and keep upload this cinde off repair👍
I have one of these on the bench that intermittently crashes black screen unreaponsive. Other times, it's fine. Been on a furmark cpu/gpu stress test for an hour with no issues. I'm wondering if liquid metal has caused a component to have intermittent connection. Will need some of your luck to solve it.
(sorry for my english)18:10 by default my asus rog have metal liquid (gpu and cpu ) and surprise and effraid me, i dont want liquid out on motherboard ... hopefuly no drop down ... good leçons for futur cleaning or manipulate laptop ...
I have a Lenovo Legion 5, but It has gone off completely now ,faced an issue where, when I play games while plugged in, the battery light started to blink as soon as my GPU starts. So, when I played the game, it just keeps on lagging and getting stuck. I thought that it was not a battery issue since it happened while the charger was plugged in. After some time the charging just blinked 3 times after it went off, ever since it has been off, So, I wonder what the issue could've been, haven't taken it to repair, no professional repair services in my area,
no, 50° is debut of melt and no resistance for long time , just for desolder and remove direct all drop, see video from north bridge fix , this professionnal guy say NO good and never use for finish job ...bye
low melt solder normally melts at 50-70 or 138 degrees celsius and its more expensive than normal solder this solder that he use is just leaded solder that melts at 183 degrees instead of unleaded that melts at 217c leaded 183c solder is perfect for all types of soldering but when you need strength, for example to solder a connectors like a dc jack you avoid low melt, you can use leaded or unleaded the problem with low melt is that in summer if for example you forget you mobile phone in your car the heat of the sun can ruin a solder joint if its too hot, so you have to be careful when you use low melt, LOW MELT IS BEST FOR DESOLDERING PROCESS INSTEAD OF SOLDERING, BECAUSE WHEN YOU MIX LEADED OR UNLEADED SOLDER WITH LOW MELT YOU HAVE FINALLY A SOLDER JOINT THAT MELTS FAR BELOW 183 DEGREES
All you need is a great wizard called Sorin/Gandalf and his calibrated fuse👍
😂 it's so nice bro
That would be a _proper_ calibrated fuse (glad to see you didn’t leave out the capacitor on the crystal!)
You know, all the shows on netflix, disney plus etc. I really don't care. I just like watching Sorin's detective work and the finale of "we have picture!" Great job mate :D
I am the customer with laptop with VRam chip, laptop is still working and I am messaging you from it. Another job well done. Good work Sorin!
Nice Sorin! I was genuinely happy for you when you said “I have piiiictuuuure!” 😅
Sorin refitting capacitors, I can't believe 😊
😂
Fără condensatorul ăla nu funcționa oscilatorul cu cristal quarț așa că nu putea fi omis sub nici o formă 😂😂😂
Nice laptop to repair 😀I love Sorin's videos it makes me feel better
Especially when he says... "we have picture!" Lol
We have picture, we fixed it i can't believe 😂
The skill Sorin is to know where to look and to know how different solders work and behave together. Without your KnowHow I am not surpised that the computer have been to only three computer shops. Well done, amazing.
Sorin is the GOAT

No. It is about the perfect skill Sorin! Good stuff
Waiting to see the magic from my professor Sorin, am proud of you as my professor sir
I love when you say...(((we have picture,i can't believe))). I learnt many thing from your sorin
felicitări ! nu este noroc, este pasiune 🙂
Its workiiiing, that,s crazy....i can,t believe....Sorin is a legend.
Insane job!
Anyone who has watched Terminator 2 knows liquid metal is evil.
good catch near the crystal 👏👏
What a repair! What a delighful outcome. Sorin is the champion!
Great work, bit of magic and luck, Well done!

Excellent fix Sorin lucky customer 😊 thanks for sharing
soldering is not a problem when you use infrared preheater - just preheat board to 80c and then solder anything you need
The calibrated wires were also used to fix the old Dacia :D
Wow, it really is a miracle. We're looking at the great Sorin on again an extraordinary job.
only and only Sorin can use twice the same advertise video =)))) i swear, this man make my day every time :))
GOAT of Repair
We are happy too. Great job.
Calibrated fuse for the win again hahaha. Good job on spotting the solder and liquid metal.
Thank you Teacher.
Bangers
Skills and knowledge that Crystal needed to soldering with flux with the capacitors
That saved the life of the motherboard. Well done 👍🏻
Sorin the Sorcerer ! Master at work.
Great fix
Sorin you're a Legend 💪
Felicitări 🎊!
33:00 Sorin why won't you wick the diluted solder on the capacitor and just solder that again with regular 60/40?
extra job + extra material
Sorin you could use that heating plate from miniware under that charging port .. would lovve to see you test it on laptops
Give me picture 😂 …
You got it !!! Really amazing job 🎉
*Hello Sorin. Let's GO! :)*
nice job sorin Great video.
Just when I was loosing hope.......CAN'T BELIEVE....😊
Thanks, another advise for us : get away from liquide metal 😀
Good job mate 👍
Hi Sorin, lucky but finally we have picture... good job go on bye Francesco timpano fron Florence Italy
I reckon the ones where he fixes stuff after other shops stuff-it-up, are even more fun to watch - Mr Elec Wizard lol -.
This is Awesome stuff....!!!!

Hot chips such as Gpu and Cpu is a good indication of starting up
Sorin You are best of the best
I enjoyed this one
Congrats, Sorin. This was a diffficult one (...and so simple, at the same time, but...who knows it in advance?).
properly calibrated fuse is epic

Hi Sorin, hopefully everything is fine.
Sorin, nice shirt man. Where u buy that, plz share link.

very good sir😇
Well done magician 🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅
14:16 ... you plugin the lcd connector while the battery is connected ......
Thank you very much brother🎉 but please remove the battery when you work on laptop 😔 please check on 14:11 and I recommend you you put at least two screw one motherboard when you start dynastic 😊
its working LOl. Nice filling.
The Best🔥🔥
Super great 👌

Magic❤
Nice job
Did I just see you plug in the screen cable while the battery was plugged in? Just a little earlier the charge light came on
when you plugged in the charger: that means the battery is plugged in.
you can do it on the motherboard side if it has a big connector, but not on the lcd side.
Hello Sorin,
I follow you for a while and you're doing great and useful content. I was wondering which model of your electric screwdriver show in this video do you have, because it looks very handy and useful. Thank You in advance. Keep up the good work!
I think its a "miniware es15"
Issues was metal thermal paste under register and missing register.
We have a picture
Singurul condensator care nu putea fi exclus 😂😂😂 fără el nu funcționa oscilatorul 😂😂😂 tura asta erai obligat să pui condensatorul😂😂😂

we have picture!!!!MAsterrrrrr!!!
question, does sorin use only 180 deg solder for any job or just for jobs near plastic components
I have one of these on the bench that intermittently crashes black screen unreaponsive. Other times, it's fine. Been on a furmark cpu/gpu stress test for an hour with no issues. The laptop is working only because it had good technician
you are the best
Nice one
Proper calibrated fuse 😂
what happened to "never plug the screen in with the battery connected"????
battery is empty I guess

Sorin DDR5 RAM memory have power supply on it
hahahahahah love morning Sorin jokes :D hahahahhaha " if we lose this cap it's over " :D haha like whole video is going against him :D
i saw a miracle .wow
Minunat!
Thermal paste absorbs heat and the chip starts up
Sorin, before cleaning with the earpick, the resistance was still there next to the CPU.
th-cam.com/video/6Psn0H62jvk/w-d-xo.html
I have Asus Rog Strix come with Factory
Cpu with LIQUID METAL
Gpu with THERMAL PASTE
A proper calibrated wire
Its workiiiiing😊
perfect 😊😊
I dont understand the point of cutting off the red glue corners for the CPU when you are saying you eill show magic... Why cut the red glue?
watching you fix some other people fuck ups makes u wanna open a laptop service urself
Sorin, maybe you should use gloves when dealing with liquid metal spills, it is dangerous material for your health.
dodgy Sorin style 😅 natural nuclear Resistance 🎉
Sorin probably has liquid metal on his toast in the morning 😂
Its working 😂😂 sorin my favoriate
Is low temp solder as strong as normal solder?
