Mike thank you so much for the time you spend on us, I've played guitar and bass for years and I'm just learning the piano, this is the first song I've learned all the way through and I got it down in 2 nights thx to your awesome teaching techniques. I'm looking forward to learning some of the Supertramp you have posted. Thanks again from Niagara falls Canada
you're an inspiration to all players with vienna sausage length fingers, like me and you ;p but seriously, thx for a succinct lesson, delivered with charm
Your Steely Dan lessons have helped me learn some of the songs I have always wanted to learn to play. I play by ear with no traditional studies on keyboards. Your methods are very effective for me. Would love to see your teachings on New Frontiers ! Thanks again from Oz !
Thank you Mike for your time, effort & dedication. It takes a lot to put it all together AND you do it so well. Thanks again from DownUnder! Would love some more Buble.

Your the best teacher on youtube man, You have taught me alot of great piano pieces. I have a few suggestions for songs which you could learn and teach, I think good ones to teach would be: -aloe blacc - i need a dollar - Adelle - someone like you - Athlete - Chances -Jerry lee Lewis - Great balls of fire / Whole Lotta Shakin' They all have Amazing piano parts and i would be extremly happy if you decided to learn and teach a couple of these :P Thanks for all your teaching.
Great tutorial Mike!! We all love this song! My daughter has been wanting to learn this one I will have to show her your video! You always explain things so well! Bravo my friend:) *****
Thank you so much for this TUT. I have been wanting to learn this for a while, and I couldn't figure out a couple of chords (and I call my self a pianist). Thanks again, and I'm going to sub to you to see more :)
their right you are the best teacher .. im practicing to be in a country band .. do u think u could do a quick video of the intro to " something like that" by Time mcgraw?
Very pedagogical - thanks. You don't happen to know (anyone) where there's sheet music that corresponds to this way of playing it? That would be great. Thanks anyway
Mike - I really enjoy how you teach - You really help all of us out immensely - I'm having a problem understanding how G D F G is a G7 - I really can not see that - please tell me -- this is where you're walking up the right hand leading to the "G7" - On every website I go to it has G7 as G B D F - what am I missing - BTW - can we some Springsteen by any chance - like a Jungleland/Racing In the Street/Incident on 57th Street - Thanks Mike
Mike- Pianojohn113 says there is no D on the C cord. One comment was that the D is only a ghost note created by the voicing but it's really not played. I disagree. I hear that D everytime in the original recording etc.
sweet vid i play imagine a bit different than you if you have the time take a look at my vid of me playing it on my key board. the vid on the real piano was my first and really bad please drop a comment and tell me Wat you think. ps your vids are so helpful thanks .
Hey man. This is a really good lesson but you wasted like 2 minutes explaining that one D note. I am pretty sure everyone got the point after the first minute and 3 times you did it haha Thanks for the lesson though.
Hi guys, thanks for stopping by and the nice comments.

Man, if I didn't enjoy this for the actual content, I would enjoy it for your extremely affable personality.
Love your taste. Love your passion for the songs you teach.
glad to see you played the "d" note - most people dont play it & most teachers dont teach it - nice job...
The best part about this is the amount of passion you pour into your music. Great teacher!
