It's Sept 28, 2024 and I'm a PBS Special about John Lennon. They focused on this song called Imagine. That's what has allowed me the learning lesson. From this I can see that he was not like most or others.

He also didn't know how to be a father which was caused by his painful memories of his own father. The saddest thing is that when the Beatles broke up, he finally felt free and was able to "grow up" and look around and say there's a whole world out there and I want to start over. Of course, that's why he finally realized he needed to reach out to Julian and I think that if he hadn't been murdered they would've ended up being very close.

I learned how to play and sing this 20 years ago. It is one of my grandma's favorite songs from when she was younger. I practiced for months and performed this song for her on her birthday. He also didn't know how to be a father which was caused by his painful memories of his own father. The saddest thing is that when the Beatles broke up, he finally felt free and was able to "grow up" and look around and say there's a whole world out there and I want to start over. Of course, that's why he finally realized he needed to reach out to Julian and I think that if he hadn't been murdered they would've ended up being very close.
John Lennon and the Beatles gave me so much hope in many of my sad teenage days. I felt understood by them when no one else could help/ understand me. And guess what? They still make me hope for a better future and smile

This song is so good that I can't listen it more than couple of times per year. When I do, it really disconnects me from the world and its miseries during some hours. I just don't want to listen it too often so it might loose its magic. Thanks John for this masterpiece, people can die but art is forever.
