I sang this many moons ago in a city solo & ensemble competition & advanced to the state level with it. A beautiful Italian aria for the mezzo soprano. My only advice is you sound very American (please, don't take offense, you sound beautiful), work on the linguistics of Italian, a good coach would have taught you that. Otherwise, very well done! Pianist, not so much. Lol.
Yes, definitely get rid of the America accent. It's about enunciation every vowel perfectly. Americans get a little lazy with pronunciation of pure vowels. You're sooo young, though, and these are minor points! You've got the goods and you're studying! So it's all good!

Beautiful. Better the voice than the hammered and rough piano. A positive organ could be a better option.
