I played a takamine for years. Next to martins, one of the finest sounding guitars made IMO. Some even play better than martins…well, maybe one isn’t really better than the other, just a different sound. Taylor’s sound really great too…and guilds are really GREAT. Don’t know why I just said all that…like someone asked me or something 🥴

Idk y'all, I agree, they're not at all similar in musical styles...but I gotta say, when I first heard of this guy, it was in the governor's episode in the walking dead, the song "last pale light in the west"
I remember telling a friend that I thought that song, Ben sounded like if kurt had lived to be old, and played more stripped down acoustic stuff...
I thought it was just me! But yeah I swear his gravely raspy voice to me sounds like if kurt cobain lived to be old!
