We are trying to find a smaller Country Coach, like a 36 or 38 foot single axle, and our budget would call for an older one as well, we are looking for a 2000 to 2002 with the big engine in it. I'm a no slide person myself, a lot less headache, but the wife wants at least two, I'm looking for a super slide, that way it's only one to keep maintenance up on. Some motorhomes have very shallow slides, shy away from those, total waste, and added weight for no real gain. Other than that I have been looking at even older Newells, all aluminum siding, and thier slides are phenomenal, no ugly, water catching frame, they fit flush with the body, so I would imagine less wind noise, also less chance for water getting in, the seals on those inflate. But the no slides are wide bodies, so a little extra room, and the insides, even on the 90s models is over the top nice, most are still out of my reach, budget wise, as I don't want any debt, just a good running home on wheels, I'll sweat the small stuff later. If you stay under your budget, it gives you wiggle room for tires, and batteries etc. That can be anywhere from 3 to 5K, then a full maintenance done by a professional before taking it out on a trip is always advisable, and that ain't cheap either, but once all of that is done, you can look at fixing other items, and or remodeling to suit your taste. That is a bad ass looking motorhome. Fortravel coaches are nice too, same type slide outs, only on a fiberglass skin, they run high too, and are very well built, and appointed, the side bays, and engine bays are so clean on those, however every manufacturer has some flaw that they didn't forsee, that shows up later, dash ACs rarely work, cost a bunch to fix, but will go out again, and the fiberglass bodies, paint check badly under dark colors, some check real bad, and a complete repaint including body work to smooth it all up again, can go into the tens of thousands. It's going to be something constantly, so just be prepared, and set aside fix it fund money. The road goes on forever, and the story never ends!
I like it inside & out, just need price I though & bunch of ppl who can make it work perfect not a problem & make it added better than new, So depending on price & miles inside out side a buy /want it GOD.
Just take the coach up to Premier RV in Hillsboro, OR and they’ll configure it anyway to like. No reason to make a bunch of ‘fail’ videos. You’re just failing to purchase any of them. You’ll most likely never find the exact one you want, or is this just a way to make UTube videos.
You need to get in touch with Brian from Brian's RV Videos as he knows these inside and out, he has worked for Country Coach at the factory. His videos are all abut his knowledge
aside from atrocious spelling, you really need to read an operators manual for Country Coach.....as stated below by others there are safety features that may have been preventing some things from operating. roof A/C shrouds break...were there any other problems on the roof? I'd be more worried about that, especially with the window situation. As far as generator not starting I have seen a simple dead battery on that cause that issue, particularly if its been sitting, same for non-working dash A/C. You really need to employ an inspector as this shows this rig needed a full inspection and you didnt seem prepared to do that. this is no to say i disagree with everything but it wasn't really evaluated fully, some repairs necessary are ok if you get a really good deal, if they want top dollar and wont negotiate then you should walk away like you did
Thanks a lot, i'm locking for such a nice coach. They are really beautiful...
I like the styling and workmanship back then was fantastic. cheers.
@@CountryCoachGuy Me too... There is no other coach who can beat the design inside and outside...
@@thomasm.7058 Monacos can meet and beat. Especially the Dynasties.
Theyre called Awnings, NOT Ownings!!
The front windshield on my 09 Affinity was $2300 done by RV Glass.
That is the best price I heard. Depending where you are, the estimates are 3-6k. Crazy expensive.
Slides on most coaches will not operate with engine running, it's a built in safety system. Same goes for awnings too.
Nice coach
cheers ..
