I visited Stirling Castle in 1991. I don't remember it looking this good back then. Has there been work done on the castle in recent years?

My ancestors castle. My 14th great grandmother was janet fleming who was James IV illegitimate daughter. My 16th great grandmother was Mary Stewart countess of aron who was the daughter of James II. I would love to visit.

My great, great, great great grandfather was the military governor of the castle and it's ground . His son, William Henry Peddie was also the military governor of the castle after him. My great, great grandmother and great grandmother were born in the castle before emigrating to America.
