It's always amazed me how a boy from the midwest of the USA can grow up being exposed to.. learning from and jam right along with those Jazz contemporaries who inspired him, and then go on to become so internationally recognized for genius talent. I might have seen Pat/PMG more than the 45 times I have if he hadnt toured so much beyond the USA. ;) Fantastic cover.. Bravo!
Marvellous performance!!! There's an extra element that the keyboard player has going that adds more soul to the song. Loved the guitar solo and the inclusion of the flute. Very fine work on that Upright Bass rounded out by beautiful percussion and voice. A brilliant rendition of this song. If I was in the crowd, I would've gone wild. 🤩
