Shedeur was a monster at Jackson State but they still ran the ball. The first year there the averaged 22 attempts on designed RB runs a game and, their second year and their second year they averaged 26 attempts a game and, their lead back averaged close to 20 attempts a game. That's what is so frustrating to me his offense before Colorado looked way different and, it worked. I know people will say the talent was different etc but, that doesn't matter. My point is before Colorado that the team was committed to the run. His first year with Shedeur he didn't have a 1000 yard rusher but his backs as a unit got over a 1000 yards because they gave them touches. People have to stop saying because they got Shedeur and, all of these weapons that's why they don't run. That is not true and, if it is it shouldn't be the case. Coach Prime always has had great skill positions before he got to Colorado. Shedeur has always been similar to Matt Ryan/ Joe Burrow type. Shedeur is at his best when he simply is a distributor. Because of the situation he is in he has to do way more. He has to evade pressure constantly, he has to make all of these off schedule throws, he has to win it for you constantly and, that's a lot of pressure for any QB. Shedeur models his game after Brady and, Brady was always his best with a running game. They ran it a ton with backs like Antowain Smith, Corey Dillion, Sony Michel etc. A running game is extremely valuable because it makes the defense stay honest and, it opens up the player action. If you can run it helps the offensive line out a ton especially in this situation. CU doesn't have Trent Williams, Tristan Wirfs, Chris Lindstrom etc so the line has to be put in a situation to succeed. CU has to use the tight ends way more and, if that doesn't work out put in an extra blocker like Phillip Houston as a tight end. In a dire running situation I would use a guard as a fullback like Tyler Brown. CU has to be creative when it comes to establishing the run.
Also he lead the FCS in sacks at JSU. He was FORCED to run the ball there bc the swac teams were slaughtering them. The same issues he's having at cu he had at jsu. The numbers are misleading

It's so funny to see those buses I use to work for that company, it wasn't in Nebraska, they tried getting me to stay there but ugh no. I drove in another state for arrow. While on the midwest I enjoyed transporting athletes on all levels and it was so fun and rewarding. My only drawback was if they lost a game, that ride no matter how far was not a nice one🤫. I didn't like to see the disappointment in their faces. Especially the March madness was really difficult to pick those players up and drop them off at their flights.🫣 I wish that I was still able to do it, I would volunteer to drive the Buffs. Listen. The level of talent that is shown on the field does not match the attitude, arrogance, and cockiness this team displays on a weekly basis. Deion Sanders has brought an aura to this team that allows them to think they are above what they actually are. Last year the distractions with celebrities on the sideline, and constantly showing up at practice was a bad look. There is nothing wrong with supporting the team, but where is the emphasis on playing football? It was a distraction. You allow these kids to have their Instagram handles displayed on the back of their practice jerseys, what purpose does this serve? We do not need to see what type of cars the players are driving in, how are they getting better on the field. Colorado won one game in 2022, 4 games in 2023. Yes, that is progress. They are in the Big 12 now, the competition is better. The emphasis needs to be on football. Stop having the camera in these kids’ faces 24/7. Turn off the music at practice and focus on the fundamentals. Right now, Colorado is a laughingstock in college football because of the arrogance that is shown and lack of talent, discipline, and coaching that is being displayed, and things like what happened in Nebraska take place. The two don’t mix. When it comes to coaching staff there is no leadership on that sideline, they looked outright confused against Nebraska, it was a shame. People want Colorado to be successful in the Big 12 but something needs to change quickly, this team is thoroughly exposed. It will not get easier.

It takes 4 year to build a college program. For example #77 and #6 are freshman. Their Jr. Year the team will be ready to compete for Big 12 Title

Listen. The level of talent that is shown on the field does not match the attitude, arrogance, and cockiness this team displays on a weekly basis. Deion Sanders has brought an aura to this team that allows them to think they are above what they actually are. Last year the distractions with celebrities on the sideline, and constantly showing up at practice was a bad look. There is nothing wrong with supporting the team, but where is the emphasis on playing football? It was a distraction. You allow these kids to have their Instagram handles displayed on the back of their practice jerseys, what purpose does this serve? We do not need to see what type of cars the players are driving in, how are they getting better on the field.
Colorado won one game in 2022, 4 games in 2023. Yes, that is progress. They are in the Big 12 now, the competition is better. The emphasis needs to be on football. Stop having the camera in these kids’ faces 24/7. Turn off the music at practice and focus on the fundamentals. Right now, Colorado is a laughingstock in college football because of the arrogance that is shown and lack of talent, discipline, and coaching that is being displayed, and things like what happened in Nebraska take place. The two don’t mix. When it comes to coaching staff there is no leadership on that sideline, they looked outright confused against Nebraska, it was a shame. People want Colorado to be successful in the Big 12 but something needs to change quickly, this team is thoroughly exposed. It will not get easier.
