That ABBA covers band were Bjorn Again, who were also only on the bill because Nirvana (Kurt specifically) insisted they were booked, so Buzz will have to hold them responsible for the humiliation.
im really on the fence about this guy and the Melvins. Im trying to give them a chance, but I don't tbink itll happen. I saw the Melvins in like 94, in Oregon. They opened for White Zombie. Babes and Toyland too, who were better. the Melvens sounded like a bunch of noise. and I think thas what their music sounds like. I try to give these underground people a chance, but theyre missing one thing that the "commercial radio bands" have. CATCHY MUSIC. I could give a shit a less about their "image" I just want to hear something that sounds good. recomondations? Theres only so much Nirvana, and that's what I like.
Nirvana fan I usually prefer the underground bands, but I've tried several times to like the Melvins and haven't been able to so far. I don't really dislike them or anything, but just preferred other stuff like Killdozer. Some covers the Melvins did were always impressive - they used to sometimes do AC/DC's "Sin City" at gigs and that was amazing. They did a wild version of Teen Spirit with Leif Garrett singing, and they played a bunch of punk covers on Australian TV once. That was a good day!
His laugh is hilarious

Rock and Roll Animal. Great live album, Lou Reed goes 70s arena rock.
That dual guitar intro by Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner on Sweet Jane is one of the greatest moments in rock music ever.
