I have the same laptop same specs, when i play games like spiderman remastered, when i put the setting at high, it shows me a warning message, that my gpu is low and dosent meet the requirement for the game, but after i ignore this message, the game runs very smooth, but the cpu temp. is getting very high around 88 to 90c, is it normal? @@PCSupportGamingTest Nothing specifically when I play any game it crashes randomly like red dead 2 crashes 3 time or 4 in my playthrough, assassins creed origins, batman arkham origins and overwatch 2 always crashes and when it crashes it says that your gpu appears to be overclocked even though I haven't oc my gpu or cpu, the rest of the games don't give me error when it crashes except overwatch. My laptop is not getting really hot, sometimes I play a game and it crashes after 1 hour, sometimes 4 hours so it's random crash.

i have this laptop with ddr4 8gb ram version but i will add another ddr4 8gb ram. can i have the same fps and gpu usage performance with this dual 2x8gb ram ?

the only difference is that the motherboard has ddr4 support and the RAM would be ddr 4 dual channel 2x8gb 3200Mhz

its not steady it goes up to 90 and than down to 60 or 80 and sometime to 55

Why you put vallhala on "very high" on nitro 5 but for ideapad with same specs put it on "ultra" ? Whats ur problem ?
So I can not compare this two laptop.
Do ur tests with same settings for all laptops so we can consider fps for both.

Nothing specifically when I play any game it crashes randomly like red dead 2 crashes 3 time or 4 in my playthrough, assassins creed origins, batman arkham origins and overwatch 2 always crashes and when it crashes it says that your gpu appears to be overclocked even though I haven't oc my gpu or cpu, the rest of the games don't give me error when it crashes except overwatch. My laptop is not getting really hot, sometimes I play a game and it crashes after 1 hour, sometimes 4 hours so it's random crash.

It does not overheat and it makes loud noise in performance mode and in max fan mode

Select power management mode to prefer maximum performance and open gl rendering gpu to geforce rtx 3060 in nvidia control panel
Select best performance in power plan settings while plugged in
Disable unnecessary apps from startup in task manager

Really confused on which to purchase this month.
The choices are either the Acer Nitro 5 i5-12500H rtx 3060 or the Ryzen version and the new Gigabyte G5 with i5-12500H Rtx 4050 and 4060.
All gpus are I think below 105 watts or like 75watts below.
How can I narrow down my decision?
Depends on the price, don't get the nitro if it's more than 1K$.

bro i have few questions
i have ideapad gaming 3 with 5600h + 1650 and i want to use this laptop for at least 6-7 years
(1) i want to upgrade ram what should i buy 8+16 gb or 8+8( considering i want to use my laptop in its full potential in future ) ,, does 8+16 gb works in dual channel ,,if i want to upgrade than again i buy 16 and i will become 32 in future ,their is one scenario also that upgrading 32 gb is just wast of money,, 5600h won't able to utilise that much ram in next 4-5 years also ( considering game size will increase in future )
(2) what is the use of hardware reserved ram ,,is it good or bad ,, if bad ,do i have to free my ram by using different tricks
(3) do 4 gb 1650 + 2 gb amd igpu will be use as 6 gb graphic memory
(4) only ram kit( 2 rams of same company , same size and only in one package ) will work in dual channel ,,8+16 gb work in dual channel ?
(5) one seperate video on nvidea control panel setting for gaming
(6) i have 512 gb ssd i want to buy storage what should i buy 2.5 inch hdd or msata ssd ( i dont have option for nvme ssd) ?
Add 8+8gb it is enough with these specs, dedicated gpu and igpu both are different you cannot use them together in gaming, buying ssd is a better option

As a happy owner of this model, I came across this problem: the temperature in games (with any cooler setting in NitroSense) is at 92°. Used for 4 months, win clean.

same, after opening any game for 1-2 minutes and it starts showing 92* CPU not above or below but GPU temp will be on what game you run.

I have An517 55 Rtx 3060 i512500h but I get 75 fps at the same settings, much less than your laptop. I know i7 better than i5 but the difference shouldn't be that much. Btw My GPU usage %44-55 somebody help pls.
