@Bryan Hernandez They can hard counter Pendulums, and in launch MD format they could eat Eldlich alive if they drew well since they dont care about Skill Drain. Also they were super prevalent in Duel Links all the way until Link era because you could turn any Blue eyes in hand into a free Twin Burst on field
It genuinely surprises me that they didn't include Ultimate Dragon pieces to combine three kits. Would have been a cool little addition. Either that or sell a separate fusion kit.

Got this guy 2 weeks ago, along with my Angemon, loved it! already preordered Exodia, tough I was hoping for the second to come out to be Red Eyes, thats my favorite.
Unfortunately the tip of the display base on mine snapped off a few days ago, Which caused my blue eyes to fall on its back. Luckily nothing broke, Except for the connector of the left fore arm but it was an easy fix. I then got a new Action Base 4 and now it feels more secure, while in flight posses. I guess mine came with a defective display base. Still overall, this was a very fun build. Can't wait to see exodia when it comes out!
I can't wait for the P-Bandai remould into all the other Blue Eyes variants such as Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon
I'm a bit surprised to hear that this kit is so fragile, given how tight and stable most of the Amplified Digimon Kits are (sans poor Imperialdramon). I guess it does make sense since this is a dragon rather than a humanoid or four-legged creature that is designed with a flight-stand in mind.
I just picked this up recently and it is one of my favorite new display pieces. I did miscalculate a bit on trimming the wire cable, so I had to finagle things a bit with the tail (a touch of glue also helped save the day!) but it still came out great overall. One thing I would love to do is see if I can find a suitable effect part to make it look like it’s charging the Burst Stream attack around its mouth, but I’m not an expert on these things so I don’t really know where to look lol.
I'm sure they'll prioritize MAIN main monsters like Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, maybe some Elemental Heroes, etc for the foreseeable future, but I'd really love to see Amplified models of other recurring monsters from the main characters' decks like Summoned Skull, Buster Blader, Gearfried the Iron Knight, XYZ Dragon Cannon, Jinzo, and the Magnet Warriors.
@@sigerlion8608 I was originally going to lump Black Luster Soldier in with the Main monsters, but wasn't sure if it entirely fit. Yugi summoned it like, what, 3 or 4 times in the whole series? Don't get me wrong though, I would definitely love an Amplified Black Luster Soldier model as much as any of the others I mentioned.
@@TheAdorkableRJ I don't care about how much the card was used in the cartoon. I care about how cool they look. I don't think Gaia the Fierce Knight looks better just because it was used 100 times. Nor Flame Swordsman or Gilford. I don't want amplified versions of those warriors. Black Luster still looks the best. They literally gave Gaia the Black Luster Soldier armor in the recent card "Soldier Gaia, the Fierce Knight" to make him look cooler.
Just realized the wings share a similar material to lego dragon wings with the exact same method packaging. Where the wings are on a sheet of plastic with an adhesive But they're very flexible if you don't mind creases
Low-key disapointed it doesn't come with a giant version of the original card, with a big hole where the artwork would be XD I realise it would be impractically huge but come on!! - Just a little cardboard insert in the box for display, like the Transformers Studio Series? :P

Paint goes on fine you just need layers, for those that use rattle cans I got pretty good results using PS-49 Sky Blue Anodized Aluminum and some silver paint here and there
After Angemon, I still hope they'll do a Dark Magician down the line, so my figma Yami can use their ace instead of Dark Magician Girl against Kaiba's new Blue-Eyes.

I want the Red-Eyes model kit now! I can't help but feel I would love if they were to somehow incorporate Exodia's five body parts into his kit! I say that, I think I would have to put my Red-Eyes into the Bandai card pose, it is the true original after all, coming well before the "Joey Red-Eyes"!
The Yugioh kits are easily bandai's coolest venture for this year. I really hope we're getting a Red-Eyes or maybe a Neos or Stardust Dragon next.

I used a blue gundam real touch marker on mine to give it that anime-style blue shading and it turned out really good!
