The main idea of the clip is Dimashé and director Galym Asylové: "A world-famous artist who leads a very private lifestyle has decided to give a public interview for the first time. The young journalist of his choice goes to the meeting with great excitement, with strong concern and tormented by a question: "What if?...". The vivid imagination of the woman endows the main character with a mysterious image and plunges herself into a mystical story.
"Everyone knows that Dimash is a kind and simple person. Not much is known about his private life, he does not appear often in the media and does not give particularly personal interviews.
In this video, we see the "darker" side of Dimash, or this appearance, because it shows that behind the vampire mask the man is still there.
Through his voice, he shows sensuality without being grotesque or vulgar.

Posted a huge bill board in time Square yesterday, on the eve of the premiere! He just does not get played on the Radio in the US or Canada for that matter, which is a shame. I love John Reed, I subscribe to him as well. He’s a real gem and gets weepy very easily, 😂 I’ve seen him turn on the faucets a few times listening to Dimash! Please make sure there’s a couple of boxes of tissues for John and yourself! 😂

You guys are hilarious. How such talented reactionists can melt into jelly over grit, high note riffs, minor chords, a guitar solo, etc., is priceless. I agree, though, that this is the most “commercial“ production he has done. I think we need to flood the radio stations with requests.

At the age of 5, Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country, Kazakhstan. He's 29 years old now. He is currently writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, he received all his degrees with honors. He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year, all while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career. Two long time favorites of his are "Michael Jackson" and "Queen".

I love the whole vampire theme. Doesn't the intro sound like the intro to Prince's "The Question of U" but with a slower tempo? That was right away my first impression. I love the arrangement. Within the Opera's context, the lyrics speak of two female friends going to a gently flowing river, amongst lots of flowers and birds, and peacefully enjoy the time there (very broadly summarized). So, basically, the complete opposite of dark, scary, steamy vampire dreams 😅 I wonder why this aria -of all!- was chosen to be played 🤔 but probably just because of it's sheer beauty🤷♀

I like that - range is nothing without skill and artistry. To me, Dimash IS music - Music In Human Form. But he's proving himself to be an excellent actor. He can act with his EYES. Many actors can deliver lines convincingly but you don't see the emotion in their eyes. In Dimash's eyes, you can see so much. There really is nothing this man can't do.

A great storyteller and paradigm breaker!
Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality...
Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is:
A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures.
Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing...
The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details.
As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone!
The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable editing with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb!
The music is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and dexterity and Dimash's agility! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen!

MANSUR has to play this sole at the BUDAPEST AND ISTANBUL show; I LOVE the dark character of Dimash, who found the ideal partner, the young DMYTRO GORDON (Composer, arranger, orchestrator, and producer of visual media and concert music, only 22 years old, but brilliant like Dimash. I believe Dimash met him through Walter Afanasieff who has known Dmytro since he was 16 years old, and lives in Los Angeles-CA. He was born in Prague, but grew up in Ukraine. THIS IS THE RESULT, WHEN 2 GENIUS WORK TOGETHER.

I so enjoy your reactions to our Dimash. You both can really appreciate his artistry and magic and bring insightful commentary. I have to say...I love his beauty and light....but sometimes a little playing with the edge of darkness is quite delicious. Dimash is more worldly now and just entering his 30's he's probably going to take some mature ventures. But we know he's got boundaries, taste and remains Capt of his ship. Its fun. Its sexy. MJ did the Zombie thing. And his Bad album that was a shocker. It's ok. It's theater. He is a beautiful young man, and smoldering hot 🔥insanely talented and artistically free.
