We did this trip last year...Me and (3) friends from Washington state to the Black Hills. 4,400 miles total What a blast! Great people, great food and some of the best motorcycle roads in America. Thanks for posting your Vlogs...I am a huge fan!

Thru out my life, I spent 3 separate episodes in Wyoming. First was in '68 as a young boy when my family moved to Casper, Wy. while my dad was there with his drilling business. Then 12 years later, as a young drill rig operator, I worked out in the sagebrush near Rawlins, Wy. drilling for uranium. Lastly, I worked derricks on rig 223 of Loffland Bros in Dubois, Wy. drilling a wildcat well.
Out there in the sagebrush near Rawlins, is one of most rattlesnake infested places I have ever seen! Out on the job, we would see about 7 Prairie Rattlers a day!
So on the side of the road, if you gotta pee, keep your snake close to thee! lol

At 21:02, the Jordanelle Reservoir, I drilled two water wells for my dad's company back in 1982. It was the last drilling I did. I made a career change at that point, went back to school and got my teaching degree. Best decision I ever made...except for buying my first Harley: a 2012 Ultra. Now days the love of my life is my 2020 SGS. 🐖

Howdy Men! That was the purpose of the water wells, to show the local miners, who had a lawsuit claiming the reservoir would flood their mines and force them out, that there was already enough ground water to flood their mines without the reservoir water. There indeed was way more ground water in both wells than what was needed for the government to win their case.
But that was a tough job. We had to use a downhill hammer bit for some slow going and we came very close to getting showed in by 4 foot of the Greatest Snow on Earth! 😏

Sturgis is always a great time! For us, it's about 1,400 miles each way. We'll do 3-4 days to get there, hang fr a few days, then ride hoe in 2 days. Lots of riding out i the Black Hills as well!
So no Aladdin, WY on the 24, or Hulett, WY on the 24 or Devils Tower or burn outs in Sundance, WY this trip. Something for next year. Glad you rode safe and smart. We’re not here for a longtime but we are here for a good time. HOOH!

I always pack my street Glide with enough things for all occations all weather situations and enough tools to rebuild all most anything and my riding partners laugh until they break down and I'm able to fix there bikes.

Hey guys I am planning a trip with about 10 of my buddies to go to Sturgis in 2022 I was wondering on the house y’all rented did you have to rent in advance and how long of advance time did you have to setup for your trip this year, and we’re did you go to find the house, love your videos binged watched them the other night can’t wait for more ✌️

For this house, we booked it about 6 months in advance, but typically you'd want to do it a year or so out if not more, just to be sure you get a good spot. We found this place on airbnb, and they had plenty of beds for our group. It's a rad experience going with a great group of buddies, definitely recommended! More vids on the way 👍🏼

Midwest, WY....once the center of the 'Teapot Dome Scandal' that rocked the Pres. Warren Harding admin....check it out if you like some of the history of what ur riding thru....also it's tied into White Sands Natl Monument if you get to Alamogordo, NM.

Hard to find any love in the ride between Rawlins and Evanston.... not so bad to Provo, ride wise. Gnarly headwinds, every time I've been through there, heading west.

How did they get the tail lights to blink on and off on the road glides?

Kidding, the lights appear to blink when being filmed. From what we've read, the lights are actually blinking very fast which appears to the naked eye as a solid light. When the cameras are set to lower shutter speeds, the footage picks up some of this blinking 👌🏼
