Warhammer is pretty popular, it is a massive book series. And has a ton of video games that incredibly popular, also had a blockbuster movie made after them. It is fairly nerdy, but a great real time strategy game series, lol.
Conan and Craig Ferguson were by far the best hosts. You should check out some of Craig's interviews (as opposed to skits) maybe him interviewing Ricky Gervais.
To educate OB Dave about other late night hosts, David Letterman recently started a channel that has a lot of his old bits from the show. Always found Dave working for Taco Bell hilarious and paved the way for Conan's crazy humor. Conan has said his goal early in his career was to be a writer for Letterman.
Clearly these blokes have never seen the great holiday movie "A Christmas Story". Who says body parts can't be used to make lamps? lol. Pierre's body lamps were pretty cool. I've seen weirder looking objects in museums.
Also your fellow Brit, Henry Cavil, who plays Superman...he genuinely loves painting little figurines like the one's Dave is talking about. He's talked about it on talk shows, and he's posted videos of him doing so on his social media.
Great reaction video! The girls are boxed up, in storage though they did make the rounds with me to a few comic convention drawing workshops pre lockdown. Someday I will gather up all my dry-erase art from my Conan days into a book.
Even though I find Pierre to be a little creepy and eccentric, he seems harmless enough and he's admirably honest and unashamed of his objectively unusual interests.
Warhammer (there's Fantasy and 40K, different universes) is very much a kind of tactical game. It's less like D&D and more like an extremely complicated game of chess. People choose from various armies to build and paint that represent different factions and then play out battle scenarios using the individual statistics of the different units. There are plenty of people who do indeed just collect and paint without ever actually playing. The miniatures are molded in incredible detail so lots of people spend years honing their craft. Sometimes they get good enough that magazines and publications will hire them to do paint work for them.
It's strange to see you guys disparaging a hobby a hell of a lot people like. Playing wargames with some friends on a tabletop may not be your cup of tea, but a lot of people enjoy it. The coolest Brit I've ever met I met through playing D&D. He was a real nice guy, well liked by women, well adjusted, smart. He just enjoyed slaying virtual dragons once or twice a week while making new friends.
There was a great UK death metal band, BOLT THROWER, that based their early albums on the Warhammer Fantasy Battles. You should react to anything on the War Master or Realm of Chaos albums.
I drive past a Warhammer shop on my way to Wal-Mart and there are always nerds with long hair milling about outside talking excitedly. So it's a global phenomenon it seems.
To be fair, Conan's pretty tall so most people look small standing next to him lol. But that dude definitely has a giantess fetish without a doubt. Probably a body sized anime pillow at home too.
Don't forget the Harry Potter Quiddich tournaments where people dress up in Harry Potter robes and "fly" around on broomsticks with the Quiddich field.
When I was a kid I thought those figurines looked cool and wanted to get into it but the plp at the time were so anti social and weird it just creeped me out.
You would probably like Late Night with Stephen Colbert wit and sarcasm/dry-humor. He took over for David Letterman. But make no mistake, Conan's program was one of a kind and there's literally nothing like it, as far as late night talk-shows go.
I collect the occasional figure. Things from movies and music, to hang on my wall. I wouldn't have dreamed back when I was like 10 that I would own a bloody Chucky doll, Gremlins, Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses or a set of KISS figures from their Psycho Circus era. So it's the cool stuff, wich still might be nerdy to many.
Yeah that was creepy! As far as collecting dolls or action figures or things we played with as kids (😏) there's a show on Sunday night where people have collections of literally thousands of items. For instance Star Wars items, or Barbies, trolls, models, anything. I guess it's a neater form of hoarding. 🤔 Conan also does a segment of Pierre's Recliner of Rage 😄 Too funny! If you guys are really surprised about nostalgia nuts, you GOTTA watch Triumph at Comic Con where people are in costume and play their favorite comic book hero. Triumph is a master of insults and they're all asking for it 🤣
David Letterman is a true legend. Did his late night talk show for about 10 years, then Conan took over as really an unknown. His previous work was all writing so nobody really knew anything about him, but the guy who was his executive producer - Jeff Ross (no, not that one) and Lorne Michaels from SNL recommended he take over Letterman's show. Obviously they were right. I'm not sure how a behind- the- scenes guy does so great with everyone, but he's great. Letterman was funny with remotes too, like when he worked at Taco Bell 😁
I know red said he didn't like Kimmel but he had a show called the man show that might have some clips for you. The hosts always had a beer and they ended every episode with hot chicks jumping on trampolines. The ones that stick out are the manpon and the man show boy asking people inappropriate questions
Oh lawd. They need to do "where are they now" show. Interested in knowing what happened to his guy. Either Conan jokes were going too fat or they kept laughing cause this was heavily edited.
When they started the channel, one of the guys was in his 30s, one in his 40's (Daz) & one in his fifties. It's not unusual to have grandkids in your forties if you had a child in your 20's.
DND is fun as shit, tho. It’d be sick of you blokes hooked up with a DND channel like HowToBeAGreatDM (Guy Sclanders) or the Dungeon Dudes (Monty and Kelly) for a newbie dnd live-stream.
Pierre used to have a segment on Conan… Pierre’s Recliner of Rage I think, where he would vent about what was bothering him. Its’ hilarious.
That was great. I think Conan got him a part on Battlestar Galactica too
Gotta check this out. Thanks
He got him a part on stargaze sg-1
Every time I see his name I sing the song
The BEST one is "Conan auditions for TV commercials"
Some people would think that a bunch of guys doing TH-cam videos criticizing other people's hobbies is a really nerdy thing. :)
Crazy like a fox $$$$$
@@FourFish47 Daz had money long before he was making money on TH-cam.
Conan is a genius and such a nice guy ❤️
Warhammer is pretty popular, it is a massive book series. And has a ton of video games that incredibly popular, also had a blockbuster movie made after them. It is fairly nerdy, but a great real time strategy game series, lol.
So if your not an alcoholic and you paint figurines your a weirdo 😂😂 according to Daz
feel bad for this guy , but I remind myself it’s a skit , so I can sleep easy 😂😂.
That was funny-as-hell. I bet that dude has a side gig as a fake Uber driver 😂
Conan and Craig Ferguson were by far the best hosts. You should check out some of Craig's interviews (as opposed to skits) maybe him interviewing Ricky Gervais.
It's even funnier when you know that Pierre was just playing a part and managed to keep a straight face the whole time.
Conan and Shlansky wine tasting in Italy is a MUST
Pierre Bernard's.....RECLINER OF RAAAAAAAGE
Y’all being haters. If you don’t like action figures then don’t collect them.

Wow it’s the real guy?!? Really cool art my friend.
What?! You never seen "A Christmas Story"!? The leg-lamp! The leg-lamp!
Damn, I wonder how Pierre is doing these days.
Even though I find Pierre to be a little creepy and eccentric, he seems harmless enough and he's admirably honest and unashamed of his objectively unusual interests.
Y'all ruined any shot of ever interviewing Henry Cavill bashing Warhammer lol

conan and Jordan schlansky escape the room, one of my favorite conan and Jordan vids ever!
Jordan Schlansky's espresso machine is a good one to react to.
Can you imagine walking into his storage unit with no idea what’s ahead…

Hate that Ferguson got axed while these crapheads still went on
Hope you are not talking about Conan. He is the GOAT.
Well, I guess Pierre wasn’t lonely during the pandemic, he had plenty of company during lockdown/quarantine.
Definitely do the comic con one where he makes a superhero suit! Or if you've seen Game of Thrones the Comic Con 2016 GoT opening is mad funny.
I drive past a Warhammer shop on my way to Wal-Mart and there are always nerds with long hair milling about outside talking excitedly. So it's a global phenomenon it seems.
Henry Caville plays Warhammer. Check mate.
FBI... Well you already knoiw XD
To be fair, Conan's pretty tall so most people look small standing next to him lol. But that dude definitely has a giantess fetish without a doubt. Probably a body sized anime pillow at home too.
Love the videos but it's a bit mad saying you would discourage your 9 year old grandson from painting figurines, why?
sure Conan haven't seen doll collectors in Japan
These figures are not creepy to me, but I like this bit.
Don't forget the Harry Potter Quiddich tournaments where people dress up in Harry Potter robes and "fly" around on broomsticks with the Quiddich field.
My grandma used to have a board game she stored in my closet called Pornopoly. Yes it's real.
Letterman has a bunch of these and they're hilarious
Everyone understands its a skit right?
When I was a kid I thought those figurines looked cool and wanted to get into it but the plp at the time were so anti social and weird it just creeped me out.
You blokes should watch Conan Suits Up For Comic-Con
I want a series where you try different foods from around the world, that would be fun
You should watch the one where Conan interrogates him.
Craig Feguson to be honest was my favorite around 2004-2006. Even better than Conan and I love Conan.
Thumbs up before it starts
Oh man I used to play Warhammer in high-school. It's actually fun af but games workshop are a bunch of shameless price gougers so I gave it up
You guys need to sell action figures of Mike from the waist down and sell them for one pound fity 😫😫

Calling getting drunk a hobby is the most English thing I've ever heard. You could get bladdered AND paint a model at the same time.
The funniest Conan Remotes are when he’s traveling out of the country! Hilarious!
FINALLY 🙌
Cheers 🍻
Pierre seriously needs help.
Y’all should react to Conan’s Audience awards.

@4:57 discussion. wow i lost my respect for the office blokes.
Oh lawd. They need to do "where are they now" show. Interested in knowing what happened to his guy. Either Conan jokes were going too fat or they kept laughing cause this was heavily edited.
so Daz doesn't just have a granddaughter, he has a grandson too! how old is this guy???
When they started the channel, one of the guys was in his 30s, one in his 40's (Daz) & one in his fifties. It's not unusual to have grandkids in your forties if you had a child in your 20's.
WTF?
stolen valor?
Conan jut calls it like he sees it. I appreciate that!
As a woman, I can honestly say that guy’s office was creepsville.
Great video blokes!
Hardly creepsville just because it isn’t plastered with floral print and cat pictures
DND is fun as shit, tho. It’d be sick of you blokes hooked up with a DND channel like HowToBeAGreatDM (Guy Sclanders) or the Dungeon Dudes (Monty and Kelly) for a newbie dnd live-stream.
Action figures rule beer sucks
u guys pause the video too much
