The Coblynau can be thought of as a Welsh 'Goblin'. They often appeared in Folklore through tales of Miners, who could hear Knocking sounds in the passages, and there were stories of Coblynau directing these miners toward riches in the mine. I'm skeptical of that, however.

Im soooo glad I found this video. A couple years ago I was hunting gemstones in Western North Carolina. We were resting beside a big rock cliff, deep in the lush blueridge mountains. While we were resting, I noticed movement down below us and it was something similar to your Goblin. My partner stood up to look and it ran off. She got a glimpse. It had dropped the most interesting quartz stones and I scooped them up. Realizing that would be the equivalent of stealing, I put them back...along with some starburst chews. The next day, the starbursts were gone and the gemstones were laying in the place where we were resting. I still have those. We really haven't told too many people about our experience.

I got a smack in the face from a very startled and annoyed Fae one day...l was walking up a mountain stream in the summer in lreland and my approach must have been covered by the sound of the water...l rounded a bend in a small 'tunnel' of rock with blackthorn trees on the bank above me, and found a little pool with a 'beach' and grassy area....there were rainbow coloured flutterings as l came out onto the area and one came up to me screeching and hit me quite hard! All the others had kind of twinkled out??
I apologised for finfing their place, took a silver ring off and left it as a gift. Goung back down l made a kind of barrier after a few hundred feet which would disduade anyone else from going further up the stream. Ive never been back either. Id be worried so.eone might try to capture or kill one or more of them. I cant fund the words to describe the one who hit me but he was male, very cross and scared also, and reflective rather than solid? Very hard to explain.

The starburst chews was a really good idea, I don't think they have flying saucers here where I'm from (Canada). I'll keep some starbursts in my pack for when I'm out hiking.

I realize many of us are and we chose to not remember so that we can fulfill the experience we once were stopped from completing in a another time and fabric of time. meditate with a pure heart and see the powers in which one possess and will not gain access until love factor is dominant.
I’m just so glad I found your channel. Your accent sounds just like my grandmother. She passed away in 2015. I am American but she was from the UK (near London) but she spoke just like this… absolutely 100%. I miss hearing her talk most of all. She told the most fascinating stories and I could listen to her for hours. She loved to talk and would do so all the time.
You all realize this man is a CG wizard right? People can't actually think this is all real. You can look him up for yourself, he has done A LOT of CG work, not to mention his hand drawn art is amazing as well. People stop being stupid and just enjoy it for what it is instead of freaking out thinking this guy is really out there documenting mythical creatures. Knowing what I know, I still enjoy his work because it is so well done.

You know when I first discovered these videos I was trying so hard to figure out if they were genuine or not but now I have reached a point where I have come to the realization that you know what, thats simply not what this is all about and anyone who has watched these precious videos and gotten that feeling inside that is unlike any other feeling you have experienced other than that magical feeling one experiences as a child when you know in your heart that there is more to this world than what we have been taught. A world of magic and amazing little beings that exist only in the fairy tales we were told as children and told that they are just make believe yet we as children felt almost like we had a sort of secret knowledge of these things being as real as you or I. These are the feelings i get when i watch these videos and whether or not they are real is simply not what it is about because that magical feeling you get inside is absolutely as real as anything else in this world limited only by your own imagination... That My Friends Is Real❣️🍄🧚🏻♀️🍄❣️

The woods that Erwin and Tom enter are absolutely beautiful. So green, wet, rocky, lush and mossy. Quite unique and different from the forests I have seen in my area of Ontario Canada. Just lovely.
Although I do believe he adds a filter to give it this “hue”. Not hating against him, but it definitely looks like there’s some editing going on.

Watching these adventures is like what i imagine someone gets from fishing, a serene sense of peace and escapism, with a buzz when there's a catch, although there's only catching on camera.
I find this whole channel fascinating.i can't decide whether it's just a play of whimsy on your part, or if you actually interact with Small Folk. They live on our farm here in Florida and I have seen and heard them several times. They impact our lives down here on a near daily basis. I have heard the whistling you describe in other videos- down here they make themselves sound like screech owls. Right now it's blazing hot out here and they're not as busy, but after a rainstorm, or on a foggy night, you can hear them pattering around. They have taken tools from me and then returned them in different spots; we have found small stirrups braided into our horses mane's; they have left us beautiful stones, along the lines of what another commenter described. Our encounters with these beings have completely changed my spiritual belief system. They are real. We live with the truth of them out here.
That is so neat!! Thank you for sharing!! We have seen beings that I figured existed, but not in our backyard..until one day 6ish years ago, my son saw one walking up our road. Sas with juvveys and dogman. Peaceful. Some that have been experiencing them for years believe, based on what I have told them that they are protecting us from something else. I have no idea what.. their kids do at night, what our kids do during the day. I have seen 2 adults, and 2 juvveys...dogman and pups. We are in by dark. I told the kids that we play during the day, they play at night. If we change something, we may get a hit on the house. Sometimes knocks on the window or quietly on the wall on the outside of the house. It has been amazing! I wouldn't want harm to come to them, and we always try to respect them. :)

The British isles are so so beautiful and magical, I am grateful everyday to live on these islands and even more grateful to be able to walk in nature . It’s so important to cherish and keep these ancient places and not bulldoze our natural wild spaces for housing, concrete, roads and Tesco metros. These places are disappearing fast . Love you Erwin!

Where would you say this is shot? I love it. I think I've been to the same area as a kid in the early 90's. Is it Devon or Cornwall or somewhere near ?
Very similar to where I live in Brittany. You can lose yourself very easily and get away from everyone.
The Broceliande and Huelgoat forests are magical but there are forests and woodlands everywhere with standing stones, barrows and holy springs.

You should go to Canada, or at least visit, it's beautiful, Iots of places like this, I lived there for 30 yrs, until moving back to England.

It gives me the chills watching Erwin squeeze into that tight area. I have been claustrophobic ever since the age of about five when a traumatic experience occurred. So glad that he did not get stuck in there.
Erwin, please do not enter tight crevices in caves! People have got stuck in such places and never got free and died. So please, do be careful! It was thrilling seeing the Coblynau. Thank you Erwin and Tom for such a great video once again!

Rather or not they're animated or practical somehow. The execution is utterly flawless easily leagues beyond any CGI I've seen.

I love this wonderful world Erwin ..I grew up in Devon and Cornwall and these are the types of places I loved to go to .We often went miles and miles on adventures.But you could in those days.I am glad we got a chance to see him today.It’s nice to know there are not just Fae and Pixies around there. I only believe what I personally experience; I was meditating next to an ancient stream in Glastonbury in the late 90’s and when I opened my eyes I saw three little people standing on my open palm just for a few seconds. One had wings. So I believe , and I do so want to believe these videos. I love watching them!

@@kennethhacker1341 My people come from the southern Appalachians. I've heard loads of stories from up in there and had a couple of wtf experiences myself. Only ever heard one story from the coast though. That was a guy on a haunted tour that swore that he'd seen a mermaid.

I remember the tears I cried in the middle of the woods at 12 years of age, when I faced the heart-breaking reality that I would never find them. I enjoy your videos so much! You can see them best during the early morning as the sun comes out they begin to transform into certain parts of the forest
Don't give up, just look in a "different" way.
they are still there and you can find them in most parts of the surrounding environment thats away from cities, but they dont look like the cgi stuff shown in this video. more like glimmers of light and the way the winds move. you gotta be there in person to actually see them, they won't show on camera. also you can take psychedelic mushrooms to tune into them more if you don't already have a natural affinity towards the spirit world.

When I was a child I would go up a wooded hill behind my grandparents house, I always made sure I could still see the house as was the rule, I would make tiny tables from wood and chairs from sticks and then leave a grape, a blueberry, and a small crust of bread. I just knew that small beings lived in the forest. Living near Mt Shasta in California there are many mysterious things to encounter.....
Oh I'm so jealous, I wish I could have grown up by Mt Shasta. There's a great many supernatural happenings in and around Mt Shasta.
