It pains me so so much.
@@avrilfan0521 Even if it was just a bunch of animated stuff. You see a number of real good animated series on the big streaming services right now. This kind of stuff would be perfect for that format in my opinion.
Spartan either way it is untapped potential
It's 2021. Epic is now spelled w-o-k-e, and sadly, this would likely reflect that.
@@Emily-fo6iw unfortunately that is true
You people have got to make this movie for real I'm not joking what I just saw I would sit in a movie theater for
Good lord...they got Drizzt Do'Urden. He's a one man army. His books are the best I've ever read.
especially the book that i dont know if it exists, where drizzt comes back home to his city Menzo and wreaks bloody havoc on the matriarchal tyranny within...
You really need to read more.
Agreed, Drizzt is by far my favourite D&D character, was nice to see Guenhwyvar being summoned as well
finally a true challange making my in game friends understand how dnd works
I love that drizzt is the leader(as he always should be)this felt like a marvel movie since it has humor & action, the new movie should be like this, these are facts.
Welp, the new movie was like this. Action and humor.
@Gulgulp. Maybe but the new movie doesn't have drizzt do'urden so it failed, these are facts.
@@drizztdourden666 i dont think it failed, i had a fun time watching it, but it would also been better if drizzt's crew were in it.
@@Gulgulp. Just because you like it that doesn't make it good, obviously the world doesn't revolves around you, these are facts.
@@drizztdourden666 It's not just my opinion, more than 3/4 viewers liked the movie, it made more than 208 000 000$ at box office for a budget of 150 000 000$, even if it wasn't perfect, that's a success, and this is a fact.
it was around 1993 (junior in high school) when i read my first book "The Crystal Shard" by RA. Salvatore my fav author of all time. And now its 2022 where has the time gone, I'm a father of 3 and grandfather of 2 now. Its been a great journey reading all them books. Mr. Salvatore i salute you.
I dig this. I've never played D&D, but I have enough friends willing to tell me ALL about their campaign, and I feel like this is pretty much what happens.
I LOVED all the Salvatore books with Drizzt Do'urden!
Most def
*siiiiiiiigh* You lost me at the moment when you confused Bruenor with Regis.
Regis? tthey pictured Bruenor as a fucking Tasslehoff from Dragonalnce Saga
yeah Bruenor has never given a shit about money
Yeah really agree. Borderline racist, just because he's a dwarf he *has to* go crazy for gold right?
well the joke is, that this playes on actual players in DnD campaigns NOT the characters themselves. Unless of course they characterize Bruenor that way in game then yea...agreed
I know Drizzt is the most popular character from the companions but Bruenor should be giving the orders.
Honestly i would love to watch an entire series of this like Lord of the rings but mix with banter and arguments from the office
😂😂😂😂😂 simply epic😂😂😂😂
Brings back memories.....painfull memories😂😂😂😂
Oh yea. DOPE TRAILER . Can't wait to play the game tomorrow.
@@LaraCroftEyes1 Ah crap... This is what happens when you get too excited...
Hell yeah same. Hopefully it isn’t trash
@@johnheather19 Hope is all we can do right now..
Sorry man but I just don’t like it. It got way too many small issues for me. Also it looks like a 360 era game. Plus with me it stutters constantly with frame rate issues (I’m not super picky with frame rate stuff either)
@@johnheather19 I paid for the game so i dont have a choice gotta face the consequences LOL.. Must play the game ...
This is how the new dnd movie should go
🙄 these four are D&D's most iconic characters they should have m as de a standalone drizzt game his stories are really good orc king was probably my favorite.
It could have been as good as game of thrones
@@rubysultra indeed we could have gotten a retelling of the war between the dark elves and Mithral Hall. even an epic face off between Artemis and Drizzt.
Skull2470; Man I wish they would make a Thousand orcs into a movie
De ja vu feelings. Reminds me the very first dragon age origins cinematic trailer back in 2008.
To quote Hiccup somewhat: "Stupid, Stupid dragon.....why didn't you use your Breath Weapon?" ^_^
When the DM plans a cool dragon fight but keeps roll 2s on a d6
because its an ice dragon, and they did to little to no effect.
but the DM might say "thank you for nothing, you useless Reptile" as its defeated before it can use the "cool" ability it was hiding
@@Hypersaiyanike On watching it again, I now see he did use his Breath Weapon, it was just entirely ineffective (save for half damage? ^_^)
IIRC, lore says that white dragons are the stupidest.
So relatable, in online games, these really happens, you will laugh and get mad at them at the same time 🤣✌
Dayyuuuummnn....double twists..
The plan is, there is no plan but attack..💥💥
Full of Awesome! Wish I could watch an entire movie of these fab four! More This please!!
Reminds me of every RPG I played... always someone in the group that will charge in without a plan, 1 will loot the treasure without helping ... and is that Drizzt do'Urden? Nice!!! XD
The Barbarian just keeps running into battle! 🤣🤣🤣
And where in the nine hells is Regis the halfling?
should put in Artemis too
The Companions are not complete without Regis / Spider Parrafin.
He’s hiding with the actual loot, after leaving that one chest to distract the others 😉
@@williamgilbert6621 lol good answer XD
@@williamgilbert6621 Was EXACTLY what I thought the minute I read the question - with the loot
that barbarian is the embodiment of LEEEROY JENKINS😂😂😂
Love it😁
If only the game was good...
D&d itself?
@@paulqruel9290 : I think the video game this trailer came from. I haven't played it, but did watch an Angry Joe Review that says it's pretty dog poo.
The game was a total disappointment, and the devs who did the gameplay did obviously not understand what makes D&D good
The game was actually good its just society can't seem to understand that they have such high expectations, self absorbed egos complacent nannies...
Dragons look like pokemon in these movies
Haha I don’t care if the game is bad, this was hilarious and awsome!
Imagine drizzt meet tav and gangs. Minthara would cry to meet him in flesh
Well thank you so much! I really wish we could get a movie with drizzt!!!! Love the books love dnd, wish the games were a little better
Right; Damn I want a movie, Hell I’ll take a Netflix TV series
That's one of the best rendered "Leeeroy Jenkiiiiiins" I've witnessed recently.
Actually, barbarian frenzy is the way to go against beholders :D
I love dwarfs so much & this trailer is a perfect representation why!
Bruenor is the homie, going for the bling
I have no idea what this is a trailer for but i love dnd and I got way too hyped watching this
I love how the combat only took like a minute but irl it takes my party 8 minutes each to decide how to attack a mimic haha. But regardless the animation was executed so beautifully and the general idea of the fights just ignites that lust of mine both being a DM and a player, more the reason to play this fun (And sometimes frustrating) game ^^
If my party takes too long, I force their hand. Chaos ensues. Tis glorious to behold.
So like 👉👈 does anyone else wanna see this as a whole movie?
“I cast Darkness” - Puffin Forest
That reminded me of the 8 Bit reenactment of D&D. ("I attack the Darkness.")
"Cast Fireball and only Fireball.
Nothing but Fireball
Just Fireball.
*Just Fireball.*
*JUST FIREBALL-"* - Jocat.
Awesome trailer. If only the game actually was this good...
This clips are 10x the quality of the game. It's a shame. I would just make an animated series with the animations and voice acting thus far. I would pay for that.
Good video brought back good memories of reading the series of books
When a trailer has more effort put into it than the game it's advertising...you're in for some disappointment.
Every WoW trailer that disappointed me when I tried to play the game and its not that good looking lol
LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the games we played. 🤨 you sure you where not at Steve's house last week, cau...se this looks familiar.🤔
Great job look forward to more
looks amazing😍
This is so cool! Is it for DDO?
Who else read the books?
Back in 1989
Just finished 1st 3 drizzt books but that's it
All of... again, again, and again
I read the Icewind dale trilogy, The first 5 Drow books, anything with Drizzt in it. He's been my favorite fictional character for years and I've prayed for a game that truly depicted his journey. Don't know if this game does but D&D shouldve been capitalized on this character before Marvel and DMC, DARK SOULS, etc set their worlds up.
One of these days, I hope that D&D goes back to their Medieval fantasy roots. And I mean AAALLL the way back to when D&D was brand new in the late 70's.
Exactly. This crap might as well be called the Marvel Fantasy Cinematic Universe.
Ah. I love a running gag....
Especially when involving actual running.
Why do I get the notion Drizzt got the idea to use the pillar from his and wulgars fight with Icingdeath?
Why can’t this be a feature film? Looks great; story from a established Forgotten Realms novel with well known and loved characters….
I still want the Next live action D&D flic (hopefully made by people who accually CARE about D&D this time) to have a part where one of the main characters dies. Only to have a new character join the party in the next scene, played by the same actor!
Drizzt Do'Urden!
There`s problems using established stories from the Forgotten Realms due to copyright issues...i think eventually they will get sorted out though and some series of films will get made...
lol. I love the Drizzt books, this is awesome. Clearly dnd players.
I'd much rather see an amazing game based on the Dragon Lance saga...
Wow, some comedy in a fantasy setting. I've never seen it before. haha.
I love how dragons are always fighting while standing in place. Most dragons would fly by and use breath weapons and their environment to their advantage only using melee as a last resort or maybe in the case of a Red to sate their vanity.
I must think on "Leeroy Jenkins". 😅👍
AWESOME 🔥
That was a really good beholder animation
This trailer has some Dragon Age Origins Vibes...
I think there's a Leroy Jenkins reference there lol
me thinks too :)
I was hoping for a movie this good.
Finally, a lore accurate representation of the characters. Most games featuring these guys is always just some edgy "oh I'm dark and broody all the time", finally a game that's closely tied to the novels and not some edgy writer's wish fulfillment crap.
I don't remember Wulfgar being that dumb or forgetting that he can throw Aegis-Fang cuz it magically returns to him. Or Bruennor being so distracted by shiny gold.
Drizzit is broody a lot in some of the novels... well, to my standards lol XD
I hope this is sarcasm cuz this is nothing close to representing the characters from the novels. This is some warped saturday cartoon version made for 3 year olds
@@free2breathe It was sarcasm, I've read the books and this trailer is goofy as heck.
This trailer is a garbage representation of the Companions of the Hall. Drizzt and Wulfgar dropped a white by themselves.
