When I’m manic I’ve so much energy, like I’m charged with static or something. This energy is so welcome after the lethargy of depression. Sometimes it’s like the energy flows out my palms into creating some incredibly abstract art that has many layers of meaning about what I experience as reality. Suppressing it is absolutely not welcome in my mind as I’m in full genius mode anything is possible and I don’t know how long it will last before I return to mundanity. I think a lot of manic episodes involve biblical revelations of the mind where ideas about reality become clear and we think up theories of everything (in science) or believe we are god. In this god like state am I going to listen to someone telling me to calm down and take the meds. People need to listen to folk when they’re manic as I think they just want to be heard.
Also, what does this "flow of energy" look like? What is it and how does it behave? I hope I'm asking the right questions.
