@@ricddewbe54, they extended the statute of limitations on his misdemeanor violation and tied it to an undefined offense to turn it into a felony. The reason Biden is bleeding support from black voters, women voters and young voters is because while they call Republicans fascists and racists without any proof of fascism or racist behavior they themselves have always been provably racist and act in a fascist manor. People as a whole are waking up to reality and they will not tolerate the destruction of American norms and processes and they will not tolerate the destruction of American exceptionalism.
America's biggest problem is the democrat party and the democrat's problem is fixing to get a whole lot worse! Bet on it!!! #toobigtorig

@@ricddewbe54 NYS extended/changed the laws for statute of limitations to prosecute crimes. It had run out in this “crime” but magically NYS lengthened the time for Trump. Bragg AND James both ran on “I’ll get Trump” ALSO how is it legal for the judge to say pick a crime any crime and you can convict? There are SOOO many violations and cases for appeal in this trial it makes a mockery of the judicial system.

due to DEMOCRAT FAILURES, Stats Show Fentanyl Replacing Heroin as Cartel Cash Cow
      May 06, 2024
Fentanyl is rapidly replacing heroin as the drug cartels are using to make money. Statistics on drug seizures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show that there has been a clear shift in the cartels’ smuggling habits, and the data strongly indicate that the border chaos of recent years is facilitating this lethal trade. Comparing statistics across the last three full fiscal years (FY) is as it informative as it is alarming.
Heroin seizures were high throughout FY 2021, closing the year on 5,400 lbs. seized. But by FY 2023 seizures had fallen to just 1,500 lbs. That is a 72 percent drop in just two fiscal years. By contrast, fentanyl seizures in FY 2021 were 11,200 lbs. and over 27,000 lbs. in FY 2023. This is an enormous 141 percent increase. The statistics show that the cartels are clearly changing their business model. Cartels see more money and growth opportunity in fentanyl, and are moving away from heroin and towards fentanyl.
Fentanyl is attractive to the cartels because of its massive money making potential. In terms of the profit margin, for just $50,000 in production costs, $20 million worth of fentanyl can be sold. This is a return of $400 for every $1 spent. For cartels, like any business, the profit margin of that magnitude is too high to ignore. Another feature that attracts the cartels is the sheer addictiveness. Fentanyl snares people into addiction more quickly and totally than even heroin, given that fentanyl is 100 times more potent than heroin. The more powerful the drug, the more powerful the addiction and with that, the more business for smugglers and dealers.

It's simple. By considering *why*the misdemeanors were committed.
Regarding statute of limitations, Trump committed his alleged offense in 2017. But New York law holds that the clock on its statute of limitations stops when a defendant is “continuously” outside of the state. Therefore, it is plausible that the years Trump spent primarily in the White House and Mar-a-Lago do not count against the clock.

To rejoice over political persecution simply because it supports your side is extremely short sighted.

Also it was only political because Trump did the crimes to aid his campaign and flout FEC rules.

Not only did Michael Cohen do the time, but he pleaded guilty, so avoided a public expense of a trial, showed remorse and helped the prosecution with their case against Trump. And still served Prison time despite all the positive mitigating circumstances.

LOL...Michael Cohen committed those crimes and was convicted. Understand I and most people don't like Trump. He arrogant, but that POS we have is even worse and simply censored by his own people. This conviction has moved myself from that third party candidate to voting for Trump.

Those are all Pius words, but Trumpster has managed to euchre LAW at every turn, getting breaks that would not be available to most two-bit criminals.
